So I just paid my first not-exactly-a-premium to Christian Healthcare Ministries. I had to wait a little while, got one of those we are experiencing a higher than normal call volume messages. When I finally got through I spoke with a nice the young lady and was able to pay up over the phone. When that was done, I asked her how business had been. She said it was so crazy busy they were trying to staff up to handle the volume. I said that was cool, and she said, yep, its a God thing, and I had to agree. God hasnt been surprised by any of this, and truth be told, Hes using it to His advantage, to bless His people, to draw them closer to Himself.
Reminds me of that passage:
Job 5:12 He frustrates the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot carry out their plans. (NKJV)
I mean think about it. Whens the last time you were on the phone with your insurance company and the conversation ended with everybody saying God bless you, and really meaning it? And why did this come about? At least in part, because the party that rejected God at their national convention is in power and seemingly able to implement any ungodly act they want.
No no, I am not at all happy that our nation is in such distress. It breaks my heart every day. I cry for my country. I cry for my liberal coworkers who are so self-wise yet who know so much that isnt so, just as Reagan said. I cry for the poor lost souls trying to get enjoyment and meaning out the sewer that is Hollywood. I cry for the unborn children who will never know the comfort of a mothers love or the strength of a fathers guiding hand. I cry for those whose lives are so debased they get pleasure from knocking out young women and old men in a game of hate.
But there is a God in Heaven, and no evil plan of men or devils can be put into effect unless God has already devised exactly how He will turn those plans on their head to ensure the failure of evil, the blessing of His people, and the glory of His name. Obama and company would be wise to remember that God never, ever loses, that all human authority is but a temporary shiny thing, and will one day give way to endless praise for the King of Heaven, for the mighty works of His hands, and the unspeakable greatness of His eternal, indestructible love:

roughly how much did you pay?
Christian Healthcare Ministries. We chose them over Medishare and Samaritan Ministries mainly because they have a better way of dealing with preexisting conditions than the other two. But of course that’s the sort of thing where people have to figure out what’s best for their own situation.

I’ve been reading up on these groups and they seem promising. Be sure and keep us updated on how everything goes!
hmmm .....
I’ve got the bronze plan, and I’m paying $135/mo for family coverage, plus the very small Brother’s Keeper extra, which allows your coverage to reach much higher limits over several years time.
We’ve been doing this for a year now already.

Thanks for the info

Beautifully written testimony, Springfield Reformer. Your prayers are my prayers and G-d Bless You for all that you do.
Does this health plan accept smokers?
Bigtime Hugs. :)
Very interesting. Thanks for posting this information.
They do not officially accept those who refuse to meet their guidelines on various risky behaviors, for obvious actuarial reasons. In practical terms, there are probably some smokers who’ve snuck on board. But you’d surely run into trouble the first time you had a claim that was clearly based on the smoking.
Thanks for posting
THANKS for sharing this. We have been looking at it for our daughter. We are senior citizens and not sure how this will affect us but our daughter is going to need insurance.
I do meet the guidelines except I don’t go to church. Do you have to be a church goer? I have always believe in the Lord but have not been a church goer due to negative experiences.
How do you like it? Do they come thru with payments?
