Wife and I escorted the “census taker” off our property a couple of years ago.
My father who is retired, decided to be a census worker 2 years ago just for fun. He was 58 at the time. He would show up to the scheduled meeting, and there would 3 dozen people in there. More than a few of these meetings, the census organizer never showed up, leaving all these “temp help” confused on what they are supposed to be doing.
He never complained about how he was treated by the residents he visited. He said they were all very nice. He lives in a relatively questionable neighborhood too.
