A father attempts to pick his children up from school by foot which triggers an explosive reaction from the overseeing officer who is enforcing a new car pick-up policy. Jim Howe, the father, is arrested for disorderly conduct for no clear reason and has filed a lawsuit. “I’m not raising my voice, I’m not confrontational, I want my kids,” Jim Howe said prior to the arrest. “You don’t need a reason as a parent to go get your children. They are our children,” says Howe.

I thought even the Sherriffs deputys in Podunk Bumscrew had to pass some kind of intelligence test to be a LEO.

They could get better officers if they paid minimum wage.

I usually give a reason for picking up the kid at school (or in some instances ... coming in late) — but I’ve never been under the impression that I was required to give a reason.
“personal business” is a good polite way of saying, none of your f-——g business..
How many more examples of these Progressive control freaks do we need to see before we:
1) Home school if you have the time and ability
2) Private school if you have the money
3) Non-union charter school as a last resort.
DEFUND the public school system one child at a time.
Any other choice and this insanity will continue.
Funny these same control Nazis would have been more than happy to see you abort your child but once you made the wrong decision to have them the Progressives want total control over their lives.

In point of fact, IQ tests are administered to LEO applicants.
The high scoring ones are not hired, nor are those who score too low.
Coppy Pooh in the instant case has other issues and the parents in that area should keep a closer eye on what their Pooblik Skruewl Collective employees are doing.
Clearly, this nation has completely gone around the bend. There is NO common sense or decency left, is there?
He was just following protocol. He let the dad pass on the colonoscopy though.
I’ve been known to send a note if any of the kids are out, usually along the lines of “Little Johnny Smith was out of school yesterday with their parents. Please contact me, Daddy Smith, if you have any questions”.
Only got the robo-calls.
