He isn’t named in the original police report, apparently the woman didn’t know who the alleged perp was at the time she talked to police. As recorded by the police at the time, the suspect was described as 5’9” to 5’11” and 240lbs. Winston is currently recorded on the team roster at 6’4” and around 225lbs (Rivals) but some other sites have earlier weights at 210 to 220.

ROFL

He lied more than a few times on national TV and people still defend him. What a joke!

To quote him, “I’m not going to Miami. I’m not going to Miami. I’m not going to Miami”.

Oops! He’s going to Miami!

To quote him again, “I’m not going to Alabama. I’m not going to Alabama. I’m not going to Alabama”.

Oops! He’s going to Alabama!

How do you sleep knowing that the heralded ‘Bama coach/roach is a known liar?

They’re not known as the CRIMINOLES for nothing.

After Aaron Hernandez, I have no room to talk.

Manziel wasn't exactly a model citizen, neither.

I’m still trying to figure out how, exactly, Saban set up Winston to be investigated for sexual assault?

So, did you lie or you have some proof?

ROFL! And I sleep just fine thanks. I’m gonna sleep even better after Bama wins another Championship. Signing day is gonnna be fun too. Another #1 recruiting class...And that was before the #1 recruit in the nation committed today. It just keeps getting better and better. Or in your case, worse and worse.

ROLL TIDE!!!!

Not quite comparable..Manziel’s “problems” surfaced AFTER he won the award....this came out BEFORE the voting....and it’s the worst possible thing to be accused of..battery against a female..Winston is screwed..period..unless she completely rec ants, or he is conclusively proven innocent..BEFORE they vote or the Heisman..

I’m a diehard Gator (maybe next year). That said, I agree 100%. Saban is a damned good coach and Alabama a damned good team. Those who attack Saban are just jealous that they do not have a coach with his record.
Gonna be SEC for 8 in a row.

The incident report does not name Winston and describes the offender as being between 5-foot-9 and 5-11. Winston is listed by Florida State as being 6-4.

My fear is that they will fire him, without having someone else in place, and we’ll get stuck with another bad hire....If they can’t get somebody good, then they might as well keep Muschamp for another year.

I think one problem is that Foley has garnered such a bad reputation as an AD, that other coaches won’t consider Florida while he is still there. I hope that isn’t true, but I’ve heard some rumblings to that effect.

Saban is a great coach because of his singlemindedness(?) He can be off putting to many people. And he can seem rude at times. Hell he can be rude at times. Just don’t take it personally, he’s like that with everybody. But he’s our nut, for now. LSU loved him. Till he left. And I’m pretty sure, right now, you can’t find a Bama fan that doesn’t love him.

But, football fans, especially Bama fans are fickle. If he ever has a couple of bad seasons then there will be a bunch calling for his head. Shoot, they wanted to fire Coach Bryant in the late ‘60s. And Saban understands that. Really we don’t love him for who he is but what he does.

When he was hired the first thing he told Mal Moore was “I’m not worth a damn as a coach without players”. And that is true of any coach.

But I do believe that he is a good person. Just look at his wife. She’s a keeper.

My guess would be that liar Saban started this whole thing, expecting that the liar Saban’s team would meet Florida State for the National title.

You might want to put some Vagasil on that. When tampons fall out they can sometime cause irritation.

“I’m still trying to figure out how, exactly, Saban set up Winston to be investigated for sexual assault?”

Some people lack a sense of humor. You seem to be one of them. ;-)

“So, did you lie or you have some proof?”

I heard and saw his denials on national TV as did many others! There were a minimum of three interviews before he left LSU denying that he was going to Miami. There were a minimum of three interviews he did denying that he was going to Alabama. Maybe you were not a ‘fan’ of his at the time. ;-)

“ROLL TIDE!!!!”

The only time I celebrate is when the liar/turncoat/cutthroat coach sees his team’s blood ‘rolling’ all over the field! Everyone knows that he is the definition of ‘jerk’. Why will you not admit it? ;-)

Cannot release my sources,

but from what I’m being told:

“Four players including JW went to a party, one of the players assaulted a girl - (placing his hands on her inappropriately), JW saw what happened and the players including JW left the party. JW is and was a witness to the whole incident which is supposedly why his name came up in the report, not as the perpetrator.”

There is speculation that the individual involved that was trying to “hook” up with the girl did not want her to know their real name and dropped Winston’s name, which explains the discrepancy in the suspect description of the police report.

Appears that Winston is a witness to something and this is what the other 2 are collaborating. It’s unclear if any of the other 3 names, including the name of the real suspect will be released.

This is supposedly going to come out in the next few days.

Also supposedly, the girl is being represented by her aunt.

You apparently don’t have very good sources. DNA evidence and now reportedly police changing the height of the perp in the report.

Of course, espn says innocent until proven guilty - due process and all. Too bad Joe Paterno, Gary Schultz, Graham Spanier, and Tim Curley apparently don’t have the same rights.
