It was called free basing back then. It’s how Richard Pryor caught on fire.
Yes I see what you are saying. Oh I have no doubt he did freebasing, he admitted he did coke. I think this woman is very credible. I just want to know though where the hell was she in 2008? If somebody I knew was a lying, grifting, mac daddy, crack smoking, male whore there is no way in hell I would shut up if he suddenly popped up with a whole new name and was running for POTUS. I wonder if she tried and stopped because she received death threats. Let’s just see now if bigger networks put her on her air. Hannity probably would. This dooshbag is slowly getting exposed although it ticks me off it’s taken this long.
While that link redirects back to Sinclair news, if doesn't link to anything there. So direct proof from Sinclair himself has been lost. At least for now, unless someone wishes to email him directly at larry.sinclair@lsnewsgroup.com .
However there does exist this blog entry from someone called "Citizen Wells" who claims to have spoken to Sinclair directly. http://citizenwells.wordpress.com/2008/08/04/larry-sinclair-alive-sinclair-death-false-alarm-sinclair-not-murdered-freedomeagle88-false-article/
Bottom line the weight of evidence, especially given the FR thread at the time seems to indicate that he isn't dead. I suppose it won't be "definitively" put to rest unless and until he (Sinclair) posts something at Sinclair news, but I doubt Sinclair news would provide an email address for a dead man.
Freebasing was the predecessor to crack, but not exactly the same thing. Freebasing involved mixing cocaine with a volatile liquid/gas , (like ethyl), for smoking, and was extremely flammable. Crack evolved as a more refined product, available as a nugget, and not nearly as unstable, while producing similar results. It was considered “safer” and more convenient to consume.
An aside: I worked in Milford, CT when Pryor caught fire. Milford was the home of BIC, and the original blame was cast on an exploding BIC lighter. The entire town was on pins and needles, for about three days, until the freebasing truth came out. If Richard Pryor had set foot in that town during that time, I have no doubt he would have been strung up, by the local populace. Thanks.
