An Obama administration website that allows people to engage in the federal regulatory process including those Health and Human Services regulations surrounding ObamaCare was knocked offline on Monday night.
Regulations.gov wasnt up and running again until Wednesday afternoon. At least one lawmaker, Rep. Ann McLane Kuster (D-N.H.), took notice.
My staff is wrking w/agencies 2get http://t.co/uXrmK0ayjY back up& running. Im frustrated my constituents cant access 2submit FSMA comments! Ann McLane Kuster (@RepAnnieKuster) November 6, 2013
The website allows citizens to provide commentary and criticism on proposed federal regulations.
According to a search, there are presently 10 Affordable Care Act regulations open for comment.
100% complete flustercock.
Good thing they brought in those “techies” to fix her right up. Seems to be workin’, uh, not at all? Next thing we know king hussein will be telling us that when he said we could keep what we got, he was being satirical. Yeah, that’s funny. NOT!
They were probably watching the CMA awards and didn’t notice...
They should pull an IPO..thats seems to work well...sell stock in it...list it on the NYSE..it has no profits but that does not matter..its got potential..lots of potential...and the backing of the US government ...can´t beat that
and here I thought it was a fustercluck...
“100% complete flustercock.”
It may be worse than 100% if one considers the fact the website may be wired to compromise any “voter registration” feature.
It would not seem at all difficult to produce a calculated number of new dem voters in certain Repub held locations.
Are the Repub political leaders addressing this possibility?
If you think the Republicans aren’t in on this whole scam then I’ve got a bridge to sell you. A nice one.
Nice try at equivocation, pal, but not buying it.
No doubt some rino’s have been seduced or blown out of the political closet, or even illegally compromised, but that doesn’t mean the entire party as you suggest.
'Epic Fail' has been re-defined.
Your very screen name demonstrates my point.
Sure, there may be a few luminaries who we admire in the Republican party. But as a whole, the party has dimmed out right before our eyes. Conservatives are simply keeping a dim torch lit as we wait for a new birth in what will likely be a new party.
I can see no other explanation for the party's recent performance - the party's leadership. They're nearly universally statist bureaucrats of the worst order, and their record proves it. Yesterday's appalling performance in Virginia shows their true colors. The likely nomination of Christie for 2016 does the same.
Functionally speaking, the entire party (at least on the national level) is dead. I'd love for you to prove me wrong. I'm skeptical that you could.
I think the whole thing could have been done right for $12 million. The graft involved here is unbelievable. Why not an American firm? That Canadian firm is said to have been awarded big contracts by the Canadian government for new programs, but the software there, too, never worked! I read that Michelle has a friend who works for the Canadian firm. Draining the U.S. Treasury has been underway since day one of the Obama presidency
I forgot his name but I heard some big IT guy say he could have built the website for a million and he would have felt bad for gouging them so badly.
Interesting. These companies do gouge government, but the scale of the gouging in this instance is beyond imagination.
The Unhealthy Truth About Obamacare's Contractors (Fraud, Corruption)The post, Meet Serco, the private firm getting $1.2 billion to process your Obamacare application, reported that 90 percent of Sercos U.S. business is with the federal government and that the 25-year-old firm pretty much owes its existence to government contracting. In this case, Serco won a contract that will pay it $114 million in 2013 and that eye-popping number of $1.2 billion over the next five years. According to one outside study, its the largest single contract for implementing the Affordable Care Act,...
