Okay let’s get this right out: I don’t believe New Jersey Democrat Barbara Buono was a serious candidate. I believe she took one for her team. I believe she was a kamikaze who was supposed to get destroyed by Chris Christie as she did 60/40.
I believe the New Jersey Democrats took a look at the landscape in the Garden State and decided even if they brought Franklin Roosevelt back to life and ran him against Christie even he would lose. Once they came to that realization they also recognized that it made little difference whether they lost to him by 4 points or 40 points – a loss is a loss. Or is it? The next thought they had was. “What if we get a clown candidate who doesn’t have a chance against Christie; what value could we draw from approaching this election as a purposeful dive?”

Yep. Buono was a setup. Christie agrees with Obama and the RATS on almost everything—and he did the RATS a favor by reining in the unions, which had to be done, bt RATS can’t do.
There was no conspiracy. Christie's popular and the dominant Democratic Party in the state has only the one star at this time. All of their former stars are under investigation or indictment.

All of a sudden his weight will be a major issue. After he is nominated, if he gets that far. We will hear about all the problems associated w obesity. He will be one mouthful of food away from a heart attack. And if Hillary is the nominee, watch for her to slim down and look like Twiggy.
Christie had lap band surgery, and has already lost considerable weight, I suspect he will be much thinner by 2016. Just as was the case with Mike Huckabee.
Dems & the Establishment Republicans are picking the 2016 Republican Presidential candidate; just like always.
