Manchin strikes me as very confused. When he’s interviewed, he seems to understand the issues well enough to draw good conclusions. But he’s a dem, and they demand loyalty. He’d probably be happier as a conservative Republican. JMHO
He had the opportunity to switch to the Republican Party and turned it down. He’s not confused—he’s a two-faced, lyin’ sack of political expediency. He is a RAT through and through.
