Gloria Bunker Stivic: Do you know that sixty percent of all deaths in America are caused by guns?
Archie Bunker: Would it make you feel any better, little girl, if they was pushed out of windows?
Unbelievable. Those people have had the very concept of liberty bred right out of them. No wonder they're losing their country to the Islamic Caliphate.
My Brit ancestors must be rolling in their graves.
guns are dangerous tools of violence and kill people.
Especially Redcoats...
one of them made the comment that as wonderful as it is that Americans have the right to own guns, this sort of liberty would not work in the UK and its best that people in their country remain unarmed.Talk about being unable to unlearn. While in the USA, did they have to duck every five seconds out of fear of all these guns being shot off indiscriminately by insane wielders? No. The whole time, their chances of injury or death from striking a white-tailed deer with their car were nearly infinitely higher.
This from the same people who are letting the Muslims overrun their country and they do nothing to fight back for fear of offending them. The Brits deserve every bit of the problems they foist upon themselves for being so stupid. Someday soon, in the not so distant future, they will rue the day they don’t have guns to defend themselves from this invading horde.
These people are wrong. I am a Brit and I shoot every week at my local gun range, and once I have been a member for six months I can apply for a certificate to own my own. They simply haven’t bothered to explore the idea of shooting in Britain.
LOL, everybody has trolls! Look in the comments for “Horseluck Mac” and its attempt to refute the statistics given in the article.
Idiot makes the case that gun crimes are more in the US than UK and so ...
Responses that if the citizens do not / cannot have guns then that stat(s) is meaningless are right on! Marching Moron indeed!
My wife used to have a British pen pal. It was back in the late '80s. In one letter, her pen pal made the statement "I would love to come visit you in the US but it is just too violent. How do you survive with all the gun crime in your neighborhood?" At the time she lived in a rural community that hadn't seen a shooting in a dozen years.
