The Time Has Come
Alan Levy, Gun Owner | Another miserable day In Obama's Dystopia | Alan Levy, Gun Owner

Posted on 10/31/2013 8:08:21 PM PDT by Absolutely Nobama

Fellow Conservatives, the time has come. The time has come to free ourselves from the lackluster idiocy of the Republican't party and go our own way. The time has come to tell the political operatives like Tokyo Rove to shove it. The time has come to turn off FOX Snooze once and for all. The time has come to tell the crony capitalists on Wall Street to earn a living in an actual free market instead of leeching off the besieged American taxpayer.

In short, ladies and gentlemen, it's time for a third party. It's time for a third party that understands freedom. It's time for a third party that respects the Constitution. It's time for a third party that understands that only when individuals make their own choices and live their own lives, can America rise again from the depths it has sunken to.

To illustrate this point, let's take a look at a breathtakingly stupid remark from the Weeper of the House, Johnny Boehner:

***

"We want to repeal Obamacare and replace it with patient-centered healthcare."

http://cnsnews.com/news/article/barbara-boland/boehner-we-want-repeal-obamacare

***

Despite the fact that government run health care is collapsing all around us, with trillion dollar deficits, war wounded veterans told to go to hell, and a website written in BASIC by Canadian flim-flam artists, the highest ranking member of the Republican party in CONgress wants play statist mastermind (H/T Mark Levin) and create his own dystopian (and blantantly unconstitutional, regardless of what John Roberts thinks) healthcare system.

I don't know if this is sheer ignorance or willing collaboration with Chairman Obama and His Merry Band of Fascists, nor do I give a damn. There simply isn't enough time to ponder that anymore. The country is dying of a stab wound in the back. Yes, the Dhimmicrats did all the stabbing, but it was the Republican'ts who handed them the knife when they folded and funded Aktion T-4...I mean, Obamacare. In other words, in a perfect world where career politicians could be tried for passing laws that were blatantly in violation of the Constitution, the prisoner's dock would be totally bipartisan.

Yes, I'm fully aware that there were those like Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, and a small handful of others who fought the good fight against Obamacare. They should be commended. But let's face it, gang, they never had a chance. They were badly outnumbered, with enemies like the Mensheviks in the Republican't party, the Bolsheviks in the Allahu Akbar party, and the misery pimps in the arrogant and lazy media surrounding them.

The bottom line is this: The United States of America is on the edge political, economic, and social disaster. It's pretty obvious that Republican't party is no position to save the day, and to be perfectly blunt and honest, it has no desire to do so.

If that isn't reason enough to form a third party, I don't know what is.

Before I forget....

To the NSA agent reading this post: My name is Alan Levy. Not only do I approve of this message, I wrote it.

I want the Constitution to “win”.

I want the federal government to be run as laid out in the Constitution. I will NOT compromise. The Constitution is the law of the land and the backbone of our society. If the Republican party isn’t interested in that, I will vote for someone else who is.

If you want to start calling me a closet liberal for advocating for limited government, so be it.

Look...regardless of how we see it it’s what we got to work with until we change it....we’ve succeeded in doing so but it can’t be done in one swoop until we get more like Cruz and Lee “taking” the leadership away from those who are the ol guard leadership.

Cruz was successful in “leading”....the party was too stunned and afraid to get behind him....but Cruz and Lee got the media attention and he got WAshingtons attention....whoever runs HAS to be able to do just that.

The GOP is already split up.
You are talking as if it is not.
Time to choose a side.
It starts at the grassroots but, you have to choose a side.
Choose true Constitution upholding Conservatives.

I would vote for Ted Cruz tomorrow. For that matter, I’d vote for Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Louie Gohmert, or Sarah Palin tomorrow.

If anything, maybe the simple threat of a third party might turn things around.

<...”The GOPe has been SILENT because they are part of the ruling “elite””....>

They are very “comfortable” getting by. No intentions to really fight for any principles or for the people...until they are up for re-election. And certainly not guts to make waves......until Cruz and Lee woke some of them up!

If we can get more like those two shaking up the board room...then the sparks will fly enough to put a flame under their rear-ends...or they’re out...just as planned now for the next primary.

Just the idea of some wanting a third party is devisive in itself...as we’ve seen on threads whenever this is raised.

It’s OUR party and we will never know how to take the country back until we take the party back...Cruz did that...he “Took” the leadership and they knew he was doing so....it shook them all up! But they are cowards for the most part, and self serving.....that’s got to change!

If we can’t take back our own party, how the hell are we ever going to take back the country?

I’m a real Republican. Screw the RINOs. They’re frauds, and need to get the hell out, or join the donks.

In football, someone wins and someone loses. The same could be said about politics.

Political science isn’t rocket science. If you lose, you have to change tactics, just like a losing football team has to change what plays it calls to win.

See post #9

That is quite a cop out. If you think you can elect Conservatives without getting their names on a ballot or by not being concerned with a split vote, you are in for a sad awakening. You would have exactly the same problem with poor screening and vetting of Conservative candidates. That would be even more difficult for a new Conservative Party without a party convention to establish a platform including individual planks and identification of those that must be set in stone.

Any New Conservative Party will face an identity problem because there have been and are still several conservative parties. The American Conservative Party is currently active in a few states. You might keep in mind that the Libertarian Party, often accused of splitting GOP votes, was founded forty two years ago but has never held a single national office.

Therefore you would have half the country Democrat, a quarter Republican, and a quarter whatever. How do you see that working?

Of course it won't work, unless your a Democrat.. I'm making no assertions, at least not yet, but who would suggest such a thing, when it's so obvious.. jus sayin.. hmmmmm

What we need is a national message;

TAKE BACK AMERICA CONTRACT;

TERM LIMITS

BALANCE BUDGET AMENDMENT

PASS NO LAWS THAT EXEMPTS FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

SUPER MAJORITY FOR NATIONAL LAWS

SUPER MAJORITY FOR ANY NATIONAL TAX INCREASE

CONGRESSIONAL APPROVAL FOR ANY NATIONAL REGULATIONS

SUNSET ALL CURRENT DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES

Any suggestions welcome..

Debating an idea can never be a bad thing. America began as an idea, did it not?
