The Time Has Come
Alan Levy, Gun Owner | Another miserable day In Obama's Dystopia | Alan Levy, Gun Owner

Posted on 10/31/2013 8:08:21 PM PDT by Absolutely Nobama

Fellow Conservatives, the time has come. The time has come to free ourselves from the lackluster idiocy of the Republican't party and go our own way. The time has come to tell the political operatives like Tokyo Rove to shove it. The time has come to turn off FOX Snooze once and for all. The time has come to tell the crony capitalists on Wall Street to earn a living in an actual free market instead of leeching off the besieged American taxpayer.

In short, ladies and gentlemen, it's time for a third party. It's time for a third party that understands freedom. It's time for a third party that respects the Constitution. It's time for a third party that understands that only when individuals make their own choices and live their own lives, can America rise again from the depths it has sunken to.

To illustrate this point, let's take a look at a breathtakingly stupid remark from the Weeper of the House, Johnny Boehner:

***

"We want to repeal Obamacare and replace it with patient-centered healthcare."

http://cnsnews.com/news/article/barbara-boland/boehner-we-want-repeal-obamacare

***

Despite the fact that government run health care is collapsing all around us, with trillion dollar deficits, war wounded veterans told to go to hell, and a website written in BASIC by Canadian flim-flam artists, the highest ranking member of the Republican party in CONgress wants play statist mastermind (H/T Mark Levin) and create his own dystopian (and blantantly unconstitutional, regardless of what John Roberts thinks) healthcare system.

I don't know if this is sheer ignorance or willing collaboration with Chairman Obama and His Merry Band of Fascists, nor do I give a damn. There simply isn't enough time to ponder that anymore. The country is dying of a stab wound in the back. Yes, the Dhimmicrats did all the stabbing, but it was the Republican'ts who handed them the knife when they folded and funded Aktion T-4...I mean, Obamacare. In other words, in a perfect world where career politicians could be tried for passing laws that were blatantly in violation of the Constitution, the prisoner's dock would be totally bipartisan.

Yes, I'm fully aware that there were those like Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, and a small handful of others who fought the good fight against Obamacare. They should be commended. But let's face it, gang, they never had a chance. They were badly outnumbered, with enemies like the Mensheviks in the Republican't party, the Bolsheviks in the Allahu Akbar party, and the misery pimps in the arrogant and lazy media surrounding them.

The bottom line is this: The United States of America is on the edge political, economic, and social disaster. It's pretty obvious that Republican't party is no position to save the day, and to be perfectly blunt and honest, it has no desire to do so.

If that isn't reason enough to form a third party, I don't know what is.

Before I forget....

To the NSA agent reading this post: My name is Alan Levy. Not only do I approve of this message, I wrote it.

But .. if you don’t know how to choose the right tactics .. let along put them into play, and just run off with the ball, willy-nilly, how stupid is that ..??

TAKE BACK AMERICA CONTRACT;

TERM LIMITS

“BALANCE BUDGET AMENDMENT

PASS NO LAWS THAT EXEMPTS FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

SUPER MAJORITY FOR NATIONAL LAWS

SUPER MAJORITY FOR ANY NATIONAL TAX INCREASE

CONGRESSIONAL APPROVAL FOR ANY NATIONAL REGULATIONS

SUNSET ALL CURRENT DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES”

I’m all for it, but the Republican party isn’t. From 2000-2006 they held all three branches and did zilch.

Now of course, we could amend the Constitution.....

Exactly. Voting for gun control as Pat Toomey has done, fighting for amnesty as Rubio has done, and being a GOP-E stooge like Kelly Ayotte has done, would not be examples of good tactics.

No intentions to really fight for any principles or for the people...

I think it's worse than that. The ruling "elite" are AGAINST the people, stealing for themselves.

It appears that it’s time to fight.

Our ancestors fought, not really knowing why, but this time we know why.

Let’s get it on.

Oh no, I agree with you .. I want the Constitution to be front and center.

However, for about 50 years, the dems have been allowed to run our schools, where they have taken advantage of that position and indoctrinated our children to believe America is a bad country, and .. we’re too stupid to govern ourselves; we need to govt to give us food stamps, rent money, etc.

LOTS AND LOTS OF TEACHING AND INSTRUCTING must take place on the Constitution before there can be any long-term change. But, we can make a change in Nov of 2014. We can recruit and support more Ted Cruz and Mike Lee types of people. People with a backbone. And .. if they start to sink, we need to write or call and tell them to get with the program.

And .. we can start by hounding all our congress critters every day (if that’s what it takes); force them to respond to the dems and to challenge them and their stupid ideas.

The Whigs were a casualty of the realignment of political parties in the 1850’s over the issue of slavery. The Whigs in a nutshell advocated a stronger federal government especially in regards to spending on internal improvements. They had supporters both North and South. They split when the issue of slavery dwarfed all other issues in the 1850’s. The pro-slavery Whigs went over to the Democrats, while the abolitionist Whigs with a small amount of anti-slavery Democrats formed the Republican Party.

I’m not about starting a new third party. I’m about kicking the traitors out of the party we have.

The Whigs were replaced, correct?

Study up on it a little. The Whigs existed for less than three decades. The Whigs crashed and burned and the new Republican Party jumped into the vacuum they left behind..

Remember, our nation was not founded with a partisan political system. Washington's Farewell Address spoke against political factions and partisanship. Political Parties were fluid and evolving until Jackson started the Democrat Party.

When you consider the Dems have been around since 1828 and the GOP has existed since 1854, comparing the Whigs to the GOP in a firmly entrenched and codified two-party system has no value at all.

Consider instead Roosevelt's Bull Moose Party which split the vote with Taft to give Wilson the win. That is the best showing a third party has ever made with 27% of the total vote. The GOP lost then too.

To split the GOP into two parties is got to be the dumbest idea I have heard in decades.

To take what you have written another few steps into the future, I think it would hand us over to the Marxists throughout this century. With that...

A third party is the stupidest thing anyone could do.

It would guarntee total socialist control forever!

I understand your argument about splitting the party, believe you me we get the same thing here in the UK, and we have a multiparty system already. The problem is: the people who run the GOP also understand that argument, and they have been deploying it against the conservative base of the party for decades now. Basically, they are saying "you might not find us very agreeable, but we are better than the Democrats."

And they are right. But the problem is that even the Republicans are drifting leftwards towards an unAmerican socialist system. The difference is they are only stumbling along, while the Democrats are sprinting, but the country is still moving in a direction we all know is simply not going to work.

Now you might be right about the Obamacare catastrophe. It might wake people up and the Tea Party might be able to gain control of the GOP. But if it doesn't, what then? How long do you continue to support candidates on the basis of them being the "least worst" or "better than the alternative"? Because believe you me, they are still going to take you to places you dont want to go to, they'll just do it more slowly. Eventually, if you want to stop that, you have to give up on them. It will be painful, and it might very well cost you a few elections, but in the long term, it might be the only way to go.

There has always been a de facto two party system in the USA, but which two parties does change. The Whigs are long gone, the "know nothings" have long gone. What usually happens is that once support for a third party reaches a certain critical tipping point, it will replace one of the main two. That might happen if a third (Tea) party emerges now. The republicans could be set for political oblivion. Certainly the party is fracturing badly - it has zero chance of winning the next presidential election in its present state, even with Democrat disasters like Obamacare to help it along. There are simply too many divisions between the various political and social groupings that make it up. And, to give them their due, the Democrats are highly motivated and very well organised. In fact, if they ran the Obamacare web site like they run their political campaigns it would have worked.

This:

I disagree because the conservatives and Tea Party are very close to taking over the Republican party. If it once again eliminates a few RINOs in the primaries, even if they are replaced by Democrats, by the time of the next Republican National Convention, it may very well have control of the party leadership.

In the short term, the mid-term elections are going to be the start, because the House leadership is done. They have failed and will be replaced. This means the House will be extremely confrontational. And if there is a Republican majority in the senate as well, Obama will be just a place holder until a Republican conservative is elected president.

Please note also, re "the mid-term elections are going to be the start": It has already started and borne fruit. See Cruz, Ted; Lee, Mike; Amash, Justin; any one of the other 51 Representatives and Senators listed here; and countless others at state and local levels.

The Tea Party movement is a hostile takeover of the Republican Party. It has been underway for some time, and is nowhere hear finished. Impatience is not recommended.

The GOP gave Romney the NOD for attacking Gov.Palin
DURING THE ELECTION, and for his IMPOSING
both RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE and gay marriage.

The GOP then lied about it all.
