Earlier this week, ABC and Fusion published the results of a poll commissioned to dig a little more deeply into the "almost unfathomable gap" that divides public attitudes on "gender, race, religion and politics in America." The results were predictable to anyone who has bothered to switch back and forth between MSNBC and Fox News—Republicans think religion should play a role in government, liberals think racism is real—but the findings on women in leadership were actually a bit surprising.
Forty-three percent of Americans say it would be a good thing if more women were elected to Congress—but the range here is from six in 10 Democrats and liberals alike to just 26 percent of conservatives and 23 percent of Republicans. Instead two-thirds or more in these latter two groups say it makes no difference to them.
Why am I surprised? Well, there has been a push lately in conservative circles to get more women in leadership roles, but apparently the ordinary Republican voter hasn't gotten the message.

If Republicans can at least scatter a few more women in brightly colored suits among the "grey-faced men with $2 haircuts" (thank you, Tina Fey), they will have to make liberals work a little harder and use more words to explain why the policies are misogynist. Right now, all liberals need to do is show some pictures and point.
So, Republican citizens, even if you don't like the idea of getting more women into leadership roles, it's a smart tactical move toward the long-term goal of terminating many women's basic rights. Why am I giving you this self-defeating advice? Because I know you're not really listening to me. I'm a woman.

Republicans and conservatives say IT DOESN'T MATTER to them if the candidate is a man or a woman - what matters is their philosophy.
The Right LOVES Sarah Palin but NO, NO not the kind of woman the Left would tolerate (or could afford to serve as a role model), so they proceeded to viciously attack her and her family and lie, ridicule and stalk her.
The Left always thinks in identity politics - how to divide and conquer by groups - but first, foremost and ALWAYS they are liberals.

Blackburn went straight to the heart of what should be the Republicans' primary goal in objecting to Obamacare in all its devious and misleading manifestations by using the Democrats' own "freedom to choose" mantra. She did that by using the simple "red Solo cup" versus the crystal "stemware" illustration.
By focusing on the one-size-fits-all model being imposed for Americans, Blackburn also opened the canker sore that is masked under the talk of "improving health care" options to be that of the "minimum standard," or "inherent vice," of socialist dogma and the policies it demands.

Translation for today: Your liberty to choose your doctor, your plan, the features you wish your plan to cover and not to cover, are being denied under the "fundamental" change which is being imposed by imperfect men and women in positions of power in a government structure whose very Constitution denies them the right to such coercive power!

Speaking of wimmin, FNC made a great giving Megyn Kelly that 9pm time slot.
I havent watched FNC primetime in ~ 6 years but now I watch her show every night.
I imagine she’s doing much better with that slot then Hannity was.
I have noticed that Hannity’s been doing the make believe town hall meetings loading his focus groups up with pretty GOP babes who have minor roles on FNC.
Its so strange how the left is driven by the external ..The point seem to go over the head of the writer..The left wants more women in office...the right states gender is irrelevant ..it their policy they want..and the left takes this as anti women...

right on Cincinnatus this wife. Ibcan honestly say that Sarah Palin is my role model and they fear her for that.
Here's what they hear when that happens:

They lose the rest.
I will watch Megyn Kelly on TV long before I watch Ann Coulter.
~ 10 years ago I thought Coulter was saying something but now she’s just whiny, has an annoying voice like hannity does, same old stuff.
Kelly seems to be able to form actual thoughts, plus she’s hot.
