Mitch McConnell for Pres. 2016 and General of Counter-Terrorism for VP.
I thought you would be interested in this story I found on news.msn.com: US ambassador summoned by Germany over NSA spying ( http://news.msn.com/world/us-ambassador-summoned-by-germany-over-nsa-spying#tscptme, )
Wait a second? Didnt Snowden first go to China? Where China and their reverse-technology, was granted the rights to reproduce the Grundig SW radio? I hear people in American jails, know how to increase the band-with of small transistor radios. What could China do with a Grundig or cell phone, like the Samsung knock-off.
Now didnt Germany discredit our secrets, as found in the German newspaper?
As for France, just how long were they (like Australia in Afghanistan) going to provide there battalions, in the Syrian civil strife? Long enough to see the US weaponry as a Socialist Country? Then pull-out and leave us to boots on the ground?
Now: what about Switzerland and that $2,800.00 a month? Doesnt that story sound familiar, as in the US $10 Million dollar theory?
What happened to our spy-plane brought down by China? If France and Germany are really worried about spying? Wouldnt we infiltrate the Belgian Arms Race? I think they have enough to worry about, with the Saab software in Fighter Jets? Comprendee-Vous?
No. One Global Problem? Malnutrition.
It wasn’t a good year for sweet potatoes: rained too much at the wrong time. Morning glories grow all over, though.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ONE AND ALL!
There are so many things to be grateful for, I don’t know where to start. Perhaps my Ping List is the thing I’m most grateful for, as each name is that of a living person who deserves my respect and love.
Some of them are more active on the UT than others, but I consider all of them FRiends. And some have been actively involved in parts of my life, and I would like to thank them all for their love and generous spirits. Some things could not have been done without them.
I’m thankful for Free Republic, for the hours, sweat and financial effort it has taken and does take to keep the site up and running.
The Lord has blessed me with health challenges (opposition in all things is a blessing of strength and resilience!) and it allows me to see life from several sides.
I feel truly loved, wanted and blessed this Thanksgiving, and I want to let everyone know I appreciate having you in my life!
‘Face
Good morning, ‘Face! We’re trying to get out the door to church. Kathleen insisted on going to the playground, but there’s ice on the toys.
And another Thanksgiving is upon us!
For me and The Bride, it’s the second one together, and what happens - Sarge gets sick. It’s Day Five of some godawful snootfull of sick, but finally on the downhill side of it.
Brainiac and Jailbait are headed off to a friend’s house for turkey, but The Bride and I are staying in today.
I’m just glad neither of us are deployed...
Hiya, Chode!
Have a great Thanksgiving!
Best wishes for a speedy recovery! May you day bring pleasant surprises!
Kathleen is SUCH a girl!
I went to Walmart yesterday and got some “cheap” champagne and some orange juice, so after my buffet dinner, I will come home and have a couple of mimosas, to cut down on the risk of falling. (Some folks worry about me, for some reason...)
So sad that you’re not feeling well. Best wishes for a speedy recovery, and a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving to you and the Bride and your families!
(((Hugs)))

Best sort of catwalk there is! Happy Thanksgiving, y’all!
Good to have you with us, Sarge. It proves we must be in the right place.
catwalks are a dangerous place to carry a large platter with a turkey.
That sounds like an excellent plan!
Home from church. Kathleen screamed quite a bit. She’ll be 2 soon ...
Next thing is getting the turkey in the roaster. Then we’ll have lunch and then start on the rest of the supper.
Sorry you’re poorly, OldSarge!
I thought you would be pleased by that! It just came to me while I was thinking of the buffet, that I didn’t HAVE to stay there! So I decided to eat, then come home and have a mimosa or two and contemplate my many blessings.
So that’s what I will do.
:o])
My sediments exackly! Thanks for posting that ~~ it’s exactly how I feel!
Kathleen heard the hair dryer going upstairs and yelled, “BIIIIIIIL! It’s BIIIIIIIIIIL!” He’s a legend even when he isn’t in sight.
