I researched the fainting lady Karmel Allison. She is listed by the White house as prospective ACA beneficiary.
Karmel Allison was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when she was nine years old, a White House description read. She has stayed on the same insurance ever since, despite constantly rising costs, for fear she would not be able to find a plan that would cover her due to her pre-existing condition. Allison recently began researching her options on CoveredCA and has publically described her experience as finally feeling equal to others, including her young and healthy husband, when it comes to access to coverage. It sounds reasonable that a person with a pre-existing condition like Type 1 diabetes might have trouble getting insurance. So, who is Karmel Allison? According to her bio at A Sweet Life where she blogs about diabetes:
Karmel Allison was born in Southern California, diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of nine, and educated at UC Berkeley. Karmel now lives in San Diego with her husband, where she is loving the sunshine, working in computational biology at the University of California, San Diego, and learning to use the active voice when talking about her diabetes. So Ms. Allison works for the University of California, San Diego. What were her health insurance options? UC appeared to offer 8 plans to choose from pre-ACA.
It looks like Ms. Allison had a lot of choices, but what about that pre-existing condition?UC offers five Value plans and three Choice plans. The Valueplans have lower costs while the Choice plans provide moreflexibility and options. Use the information below to help you choose the right medical plan for you.
Rules Regarding Pre-Existing Conditions
When you enroll in any UC-sponsored medical, dental or vision plan, you will not be excluded from enrollment based on your health, nor will your premium or level of benefits be based on any pre- existing health conditions. In fact, you will not be asked for a statement of health. The same applies to your eligible family members. However, enrolling in or increasing coverage for Supplemental and Dependent Life insurance and Supplemental Disability insurance outside of a period of initial eligibility (PIE) does require a statement of health. Pre-existing conditions may also limit the amount of benefits you can receive under Supplemental Disability during your first year of coverage.Unless I am missing something, Ms. Allison already had 8 plans to choose from with no health questions or pre-existing condition exclusions. She doesn't seem to be especially political from her twitter stream, but she does look like an Obama admirer from 2009.
I admit it. I liked you before, but date night? Funny, I believe in you more as a leader all of the sudden, Mr. Obama: http://bit.ly/4sEegGIt is likely Ms. Alllison is a big Obamacare supporter because, regardless of her insurance status and possibilities, she is an activist for others with diabetes.

To me it looked like they were drugged or held there against their will.
Extremely creepy that the boy man uses human props just like the wacko in North Korea.
Well done, Ask Y ... well done.
And as we all know, diabetes could have been CURED by now if the RIGHT WING of the REPUBLICAN PARTY hadn’t OUTLAWED STEM CELL RESEARCH, oh, and condemned all AIDS victims to an EARLY DEATH. /s
Thanks Askwhy5times.
Is there a temp agency for phony political prop zombies somewhere or is that just an in-house thing Jarrett takes care of?
So... I must have missed it again...
why do I have to pay for them?
heres the count as far as I’ve been able to determine
here was an incident of fainting at his rally removed from YouTube, from 2007. There were at least four incidents of women fainting during his 2008 campaign.
There was at least one incident in 2009 and two in 2010. I couldnt find any incidents for 2011 in my quick search, but March of 2012 came in like a lion when it came to fainting woman at Obama rallies. There were three in that month alone.

Don’t they just get them from union rolls?
This time it was real? The number of occasions that The One has paused in mid-speech, in an open setting, to point to “someone” among his avid listeners that appeared to be about to faint, or had fainted, is a bit amazing. It was inevitable that one would be overcome, and lose consciousness. As for myself, I feel nauseous.
I thought the unions were dissing 0bamaCare? Does that mean these props were scabs?
I watched an interview with Alice Cooper where he talked about doing a school talent show with his friends. They were a parody of “The Beatles” and they hired a bunch of girls as “Screamers.”
The girls got the crowd going and they had a really great time. The next day they talked about forming a “real” band.
I get the impression that this administration hires “Screamers.”
"Screamers". And "fainters"...
Excellent context in which to consider Karmel Allison’s access to health care.
This would fit with the leftie mindset— nevermind any reality (of having multiple, generous, affordable insurance options), the agenda must be pushed in order to solve all of the problems in the imaginary Woe-ville.
there may have been more but I cant find any current references to them.
my reaction to this current “incident” was almost identical to my reaction to the first incident. utter disbelief...that anyone would stoop to that sort of THEATRICS...mixed with hilarity and disgust...
Once again, a freeper scoops the world! What more can I say???!!!

In California if Karmel had the same insurance plan for 18 months with no interuption, even individual plans, she could not be denied coverage anywhere. You get a certificate of continuous coverage and you are good if you leave your job or want to change plans.
Before Obamacare. The article states she has had the same plan since she was 9 out of fear of being denied somewhere. It has been CA law that she could not be denied for many years.
I used to be a health insurance agent in CA.
