Waking up from a bad dream, the American people have realized that Obama Care can't work, that government cannot be trusted with health care.
The shutdown of the American government proves one thing for sure, do you want your health care entrusted to a government that has proven to be unreliable? Would the doctors stay home? Would hospitals close their doors? Would there be more government shut downs because of the economic weight of one sixth of the American economy nationalized and socialized?
But this shut down is only one small, momentary example of the inconsistency of our government. Take guarding the borders. This is a responsibility jealously guarded by the federal government. It is one you would think would be of some importance. So how do twenty million illegal aliens get into our country? And this current failure is not the first time. Even the much loved Ronald Reagan could not the stem the tide the first time this issue was addressed back in his time. The liberals gave amnesty and did nothing to correct the problem.
So is this the place you want your health care controlled?
Obama Care is a wolf in sheep's clothing. President Obama has usurped his power by unilaterally modifying the law after it was adopted. Some 4800 groups have been exempted from Obama Care. Delay in implementation of parts of the law has been allowed by the administration, but average Americans must endure what corporations do not! And then there's the cost to the average American. Congress and its staffers were given a large subsidy to pay their individual costs for Obama Care! Is that right?
The TEA PARTY has been all important in resisting the tyrannical powers associated with Obama Care. It was the citizenry who conducted the Tea Party in Boston, rejecting taxation from England, and it is the TEA PARTY of today who fulfilling that same role, only against the federal government. Jesse Jackson asserts that the TEA PARTY is a revival of the Confederacy. In some ways he is right. While the history of the Confederacy has been rightly painted with the brush of slavery, there was much more to the Cause than one "peculiar institution." The Lincoln administration and the Republicans were about expanding federal power, increasing taxes (they created the income tax) and changing the literal meaning of the Constitution without amendment. The South believed in a strict original interpretation of the Constitution.
America is in turmoil. And it's in turmoil is because the Republican Party has failed to become a national party with a cohesive agenda. Created to free the slaves, it did it's job and should have went away. Instead, like anything else associated with government it lives way past its purpose. The Democrats have one common interest ... expanding the government. This expansion ties the recipients of government largesse into one large monolithic mass.
But the American people are left without a champion. It's certainly not the Republican Party. Composed of diverse group of special interests, without a common bond or value set, the Republican Party is a hodge - podge of loosely confederated groups. Each group looks around each election to see where their interests rest. Last election 4 million less Republican voters turned up at the polls. Now either the integrity of the election process is in question, or 4 million less voters found solace in the Romney candidacy and opted to stay home.
The great evil of Obama Care and its repeal may be a single, momnetary issue that can bring together a solid (in fact a super majority would be needed) to undo the harm to America's health care system. Simply put the government does not have the kind of performance record necessary to be the steward of health care. Obama Care may offer new life to the GOP, but it will be short lived if the Republcian Party cannot more to the right, consolidate itself around American conservatism and offer America a new, prosperous future. The Karl Rove neo - conservative wing of the party needs to go beginning with Lindsey Graham in South Carolina.
For now, the Republicans must conduct a holding action. The House of Representatives must stand fast in delaying the implementation, and defunding the monster. Stalemate is better for America, then progressing down a road with only bad consequences for health care, the economy and liberty.
The TEA PARTY has been all important in resisting the tyrannical powers associated with Obama.
There fixed it.

And that they still have time, they can vote the SOBs out and repeal the Vampire Act.
I will self-doctor (been doing it anyway) for as much as I can safely do. I want to stay as far away from these people as possible.
my knee has been killing me. No obvious signs of damage. Could I torn a ligament?
I attended a Tea Party organization dinner around 2009. Present was a mad-as-hell uber-liberal Prius driving, granny skirt-wearing woman who owned one of those little Vegan restaurants. She was angry that the city wanted to fund some liberal claptrap and had simply declared a one-time fee/tax on every business in town. Her fee was equal to a year’s profit. I mention this because she’d converted over an issue not nearly as damaging or divisive as Obamacare. I suspect a lot of liberals may find themselves climbing into bed with (shudder) Tea Partiers. We need a truly conservative candidate this time as he (or she) will get elected regardless of the Democratic vote shenanigans.
That’s hilarious.
I’ve heard that a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged. This woman was “mugged” in a different way. Whatever works to convert those from the dark side... I’m for it.
Fixed it!!
It was the citizenry who conducted the Tea Party in Boston, rejecting taxation from England, and it is the TEA PARTY of today who fulfilling that same role, only against the federal government.
And the Tea Party will reform the GOP....and Drive out RINOS like mcKook, Graham Cracker, and all of the LEFTISTS in the GOP...
Jesse Jackson asserts that the TEA PARTY is a revival of the Confederacy.
You, sir, are a nut case... the Democrats are the RACISTS, you jackass
Are you just kidding? If not — get it seen. I twisted my knee years ago, and never had it seen. A tendon was torn and over the years all the bones in the foot went flat. Rather than have pin, pin, pin surgery, I now wear an ankle brace.
Get it seen ——— while you still can.
I don’t really have the ability to get it seen right now, but if I get the chance I might
or miniscus
miniscus?
Looking at the wiki, I don’t know.
Wait, would psoriasis effect my knee at all? It is one of the places where the skin gets scaly, although not at the same place on the knee as this pain.
