Great idea, Padre. Why not get on the bus to Mexico and tell their immigration officers that.

I’m sure Mexicans feel exactly that way about Guatemalans. Welcome. Come on in. Make yourself at home.

It’ll be interesting to see, if Obama starts the amnesty push with a lot of noise in the media, if Pope Francis will stick his big nose in and give the typical socialist response in favor of Obama’s plan. He has a big mouth, bigger than all these Bishops.

Well, here's one law that we're dealing with:
18 USC § 1028 - Fraud and related activity in connection with identification documents, authentication features, and information (a) Whoever, in a circumstance described in subsection (c) of this section
(snip)
(3) knowingly possesses with intent to use unlawfully or transfer unlawfully five or more identification documents (other than those issued lawfully for the use of the possessor), authentication features, or false identification documents;
(4) knowingly possesses an identification document (other than one issued lawfully for the use of the possessor), authentication feature, or a false identification document, with the intent such document or feature be used to defraud the United States;
(snip)
shall be punished as provided in subsection (b) of this section.
(b) The punishment for an offense under subsection (a) of this section is
(snip)
(snip)
(6) a fine under this title or imprisonment for not more than one year, or both, in any other case.
In 2007, there were 1.8 million tax returns filed using so-called "Individual Tax Identification Numbers" (SSANs for non-resident aliens). So for the rest of the 15 million or so illegals...either:
- they committed fraud in collecting welfare (a felony, see above)
- they evaded tax (a felony)
- they "borrowed" somebody's SSAN (a felony)
- they got forged paperwork in order to defraud an employer (a felony)
So, not a crime, Bishops?

The US Catholic Bishops are pro amnesty
They also have been some of the biggest backers of socialized medicine.
Liberation theology is alive and well in the US Catholic church.
To: moonshinner_09
Gosh, a Bishop says it, so it must be true.
Um, not.
To: moonshinner_09
Well this Catholic has two words for these two bishops and their initials are BS. Just one more reason why bishops get little respect from the Catholics in the pews.

Catholic bishops are revving up their campaign to demand that Congress grant amnesty to at least 11 million illegal immigrants. First lie constantly forced on us night and day, 11 million illegal immigrants. In absolutely no form or fashion are there only 11 million illegal immigrants. AT LEAST 28 million illegal immigrants are in this nation. I promise.

the problem today is that we’ve remove ridicule from society
there was a time when you’d say something this stupid, you’d be laughed out of whatever position you held.
it’s almost as stupid as saying raising the debt ceiling won’t ... raise the debt
we just need to start sternly saying one word when they talk:
