I think Maj. Gen. Michael Carey refused to acknowledge that he would fire upon American citizens so he is not needed.
I think the answer is simple. Obama is firing “disloyal” Generals and Admirals and replacing them with yes-men who will be willing to enforce the upcoming martial law and FEMA camps, and have no qualms about firing on “unruly” civilians.
I don’t think that the military is sacking enough misbehaving Generals and Admirals. Sacking of incompetent, dishonest, or immoral executives is a unique behavior of the military when compared with other government institutions. Criminal behavior by politicians and political appointees is not only tolerated, but encouraged. This level of corruption has thankfully not yet extended to the uniform services. God help us if it ever does.
