What this means is that should Congress fail to increase the debt ceiling this week, come November there will literally be millions of people in the United States who will have exactly zero dollars transferred to their EBT cards.
What will happen to the nearly 50 million people who depend on these benefits to survive?
Think this past weekend and multiply it across the entirety of the United States of America.
In the State of Utah the immediate effect of the USDA’s contingency plan will be a freeze in benefits for 100,000 people. Richard Phillips, a homeless man who depends on the government’s monthly distributions, warned what would happen next:
"It’s going to cause problems… because then you’re going to come to find out that you’re going to have people starting to steal and do what they have to do to survive."

I'm sick and tired of feeding able bodied people. I don't care what color they are, if they are taking from me when they can work they are parasites.
I don't care what they eat if EBT is cut off. They can eat grass or sawdust biscuits.
If the government cares about them so much, let them stand in line for free cheese....
There are truly needy people that will be hurt. Feeding the poor is what Christian charity used to do before the government decided that the hungry shouldn't be told the food was given in Jesus’s name.
The needy that have Faith in their hearts will be fed. The others will riot.

Well, you are quiet right about that. I should have been more specific. The Democrats that don't go to National Parks are the ones with Obama phones and EBT cards drawing disability for their ADHD. The get a check crowd. They will only vote and vote for Democrats as long as the benefits keep flowing.
The Progressives will vote Democrat no matter what. Obama doesn't need to do anything to buy their support.
Isolated cases you refer to. Yes there will always be slackers.
Statistically the bulk of the EBT users are people that have lost their work or who income has taken a fall. EBT gets them from one month to the next but they would prefer to have a job. These kinds of people are the bulk of EBT.
So the solution is to get unemployment down and that means grow the economy which Obama has not done and has no intention of doing.
The “government teachers” being hit by the “shutdown” teach in schools on military bases and are teaching the children of our servicemen. Many of them are military dependents themselves.
AT least one state is going to credit EBT holders $50 a day or something

There is no work. The majority of these people were raised to not work anyway. Where would they look? The last grade they passed was 6th grade. They haven't seen their daddy since conception. They will turn to crime and more of us will have to shoot them. Very sad state of affairs.
Not true where I live, and none of the ones I associate with have Obamaphones or EBT cards.
The Democrats among them are starting to realize the Republicans aren't the ones to blame, the Marxist/Socialists among them are a lost cause.

THINK man when the cut off comes what do you think he’s going to say hey I cut off tour access to the Government’s stash? Hell no he’s going to tell them the press and going to tell them that the ‘Teabaggers’ and Republicans caused it and they are going to believe it and why wouldn’t they the great and powerful ‘Bama’ told them it was so. I’ve seen a few apologists around here. I’m not naming names.
But here it is in a nutshell.
I’ve BEEN hungry. I’ve been without work.
Once, I was so hungry, that while pounding the pavement for work (like I did everyday, same route, on foot), I passed a fellow going the opposite direction.
He had a package of M&M’s in his hand. I had the impulse to grab that pack of M&M’s and run..that was how hungry I was.
I know what hunger does. Real hunger.
But I didn’t grab that bag of candy, I didn’t compromise my morals. I kept looking for work .
I got fed shortly thereafter, met an old friend at a Denny’s, he bought my lunch.
There is more to this story, but it is irrelevant to the fact that there are those who take responsibility and those that don’t.
It could be a real sob story if told by a liberal, or it could be a story of tough love if told by a conservative
I would not have turned my nose up to game meat.
