With all the momentum from the victories in successful recall elections for two other anti-gun senators

in Colorado, the pro gun movement is alive and well in the Centennial State.

If the gun grabbers were not paying attention before, they should be now as a third senator is being targeted for removal from office for pushing restrictive gun control through the state.

On Friday, October 4th, the Secretary of State in Colorado approved a petition to recall Senator Evie Hudak, a Democrat from Senate District 19.

The group that is organizing the recall effort is called “Recall Hudak too”. The group needs at least 18,300 signatures from voters in Senate District 19 within 60 days from this last Friday, although organizers are aiming for 25,000 signatures just for good measure.

There is a running countdown on the Recall Hudak too website to help motivate potential petition signers, and if you would like to donate to this cause you can do so through the website as well.

“She has infringed upon our constitutional right to keep and bear arms. She has voted to make all citizens less safe and to drive hundreds of jobs from Colorado,” reads an excerpt of the petition language e-mailed by Mike McAlpine, a spokesman for the group.

After listening to the testimony from a rape victim asking why she was not able to carry a gun to protect herself from being raped Senator Hudak replied in typical anti-gun fashion by saying if the rape victim DID have a gun then the rapist would have been able to use it against her.

“I just want to say that, actually statistics are not on your side even if you had a gun,” Hudak said during the hearing. “And, chances are that if you would have had a gun, then he would have been able to get that from you and possibly use it against you.”

After making comments like this and voting through gun control legislation that does nothing to stop the criminals and everything to limit individual rights to bear arms, it’s no wonder that Senator Hudak is being recalled, especially considering that she won the seat in 2012 by about 580 votes with a third-party candidate on the ballot.

n September, both Senate President John Morse and rookie Senator Angela Giron, were both recalled due to their support of strict gun control laws earlier in the year.

This could be the makings of another recall election and victory for the real common sense pro gun movement. And of course, Senator Hudak is already making excuses for why she may lose if a recall election is forced, saying that

Colorado is on a winning streak with these recalls, don't stop now. I don't live in CO so I would sign that recall petition in spirit. And may G-D be with that brave young lady who told this clueless b!tch to sh!t in her hat and wear it.

The recall action played no small part in the veto of a semi-auto rifle ban by Gov “Moonbeam” Brown. Recall groups were in the making in many districts. Thank You Colorado!

Hmmmm It looks to me like Colorado is attempting to abort the result of 20+ years of Californication.

This should be the easiest recall. She only won by 32 votes and the Libertarian took 4,823 votes.

Democrat Hudak:46.93%
Republican Sias: 46.48%
Libertarian Sweeny 6.59%.

I agree because something made Brown think twice about that ban.

This would swing the CO senate makeup to 18 Rs and 17 Ds.

The House is +9 for Dems due to the 2012 election. It could swing back pretty easily in 2014.
