Obamacare Has “Raped My Future!” Says Underemployed College Grad in Viral Letter
Ashley Dionne is a 26 year-old college graduate who says her future has been “raped” by Obamacare, reports Campus Reform.
This University of Michigan alum shared her story of Obamacare sticker shock and outrage with radio host, Dennis Prager. Here’s a copy of her open letter:
“My name is Ashley Dionne and I’m a 26-year-old recent graduate from Michigan.
The phony Obamacare signup poster boy made me want to send a message about how Obamacare is really affecting people.
I graduated from The University of Michigan in 2009. In my state, this used to mean something, but even with a bachelor’s I was told I was too educated and wouldn’t stay. I watched as kids with GEDs and high school diploma’s took the low-paying jobs for which I applied.
I went back to school and got a second degree and finally found work at a gym. I work nights and only get 32 hours a week for eight dollars an hour. I’m unable to find a second job at this time.
I have asthma, ulcers, and mild cerebral palsy. Obamacare takes my monthly rate from $75 a month for full coverage on my “Young Adult Plan,” to $319 a month. After $6,000 in deductibles, of course.
Liberals claimed this law would help the poor. I am the poor, the working poor, and I can’t afford to support myself, let alone older generations and people not willing to work at all.
This law has raped my future.
It will keep me and kids my age from having a future at all.
This is the real face of Obamacare and it isn’t pretty.”
This isn’t the first time an American citizen has discovered the truth about Obamacare. It will not be the last.

Remember the meetings Democrats had with the pharmaceutical companies? Now you see why they didn’t object strongly to Obamacare. Whereas businesses used to be Republican, the Democrats have learned how to win them over with promises of higher profits. Of course free market principles be damned.........
Yup, a lot of young people fell for all the ‘hopey-change’ BS and now they’re going to get it—good and hard.
Just wait until these dumbasses discover the difference between “coverage” and “access”. That’s the next great big turd-on-a-bun that’s going to be served up to them.

He says it isn’t Political at all, it’s just how the numbers work, or don’t work.

Sorry, you’re wrong. I’ve got three who graduated in the past 5 years and all have good careers started. If you teach your kids hard work, the necessity of a good education, getting good grades, preparing yourself for work, thrift, and discipline, they’ll do fine. They have to be ready to leave the nest and go where their careers take them, too. If they won’t cut the Mommy apron strings, they will be out of luck.
The administration has also done a good number on my pay check too..

And so if your career takes you to Asia, you go there too. Stay in the USA, you pay higher tax rates, deal with ObamaCare regulations, higher cost of living and surrounded by a hedonistic culture that promotes the homosexual lifestyle.

Anyone can win by working or being merely a descent mother of kids. However the loser who are not winning that way look for winning politically instead (gays and feminis prostitutes like Fluke). These politics as a last resort types will leach and seek to destroy by sheer obamacare recruitment those who win by good behavior.
This is the essence of Marxism: no substance all politics.
In atmosphere like this it becomes a crime to be employed unless payin high taxes as a slave with non future.
It’s interesting this young person makes no mention of who she voted for in the last presidential election. I had a conversation about ACA with a young relative recently. I ended said conversation with the comment, “votes have consequences”.
A lot of kids are in for a big wake up call. They put the country in this predicament, so it’s hard to have any sympathy for those getting nailed by their “cool” president.
Before long you won’t be able to buy drugs from Canada. The pharmaceutical companies got that in the deal.
But it’s not rape rape ?
Take this up with the people who brought Obamacare. Your late revelation is not news to me.
Elections matter. Next time, vote what is best for our country, not homecoming king/queen.
It depends on what your degree is in: engineering, nursing, pharmacy or the like and you probably will do OK. If you get a BA in some arcane field like ancient philosophy or Spanish literature, you’re likely to have to learn how people want their burgers fried.
Yes, my B.A. degree was political science from Thomas More College in Merrimack, New Hampshire. So if I didn’t move to Asia, you would have met me asking you, “do you want me to super-size your Big Mac meal?”
