So, I was examining state 244 at the tourist pull-out located a couple of hundred yards west of the main entrance. Google’s streetview enables you to see the roadway from the position of a passing motorist. As a matter of policy, they pixelate recognizable faces of pedestrians to respect their privacy. At the point on the streetview from 244 where you can see Rushmore through the trees, they’ve pixelated Jefferson’s face. Getting a little carried away there...
Obama is so far removed from reality that he actually thinks this will stir anger against Repubs.

If the cone-placers aren't from the level of government that owns and maintains the road, they have no jurisdiction to do so. Just move them off the road and park anyway.
SH244 runs right by it and US 16 is a short distance away.

Locals would do that, but many of the tourists this time of year are from out of the country. I could see the Pennington county sheriff doing that though.
