It's all working just as planned for Democrats on the road to single payer, except for one HUGE obstacle - the GOP runs the House now and it's not likely they're going to lose that majority in 2014. In fact, if some of the moderate Republicans get Tea Party'd in the primaries, the House will become even more conservative than it is now. So single payer is totally out of the equation for the near future. All we're going to have for years to come are pee'd off low information voters who will realize they were sold a bridge to nowhere.

This is the very reason the wife and I are looking real hard at retiring in the Bahamas if we don’t stay in Hong Kong.
