Depends where you live. If your community has a power plant you get a break from the Gross Receipts Tax on the plant.In that area 100,000 house might be around 2000 -2500.A $100,000 home in some parts of NJ can be a hut!

Just wondering....just reporting the ‘increases’ on a tax bill doesn’t really say much about what the millage rate already is.

Very few people are getting a power plant rebate. Taxes on a $250,000 house in South Jersey can be over $10,000. Higher in North Jersey. 7% sales tax. State income tax. Very high car insurance rates.

Christie has capped the annual property tax increase I think at 3%, but with many exceptions for emergencies, etc.
