Republicans in leadership positions spend more time trashing the tea party than they do fighting the opposition, conservative talk show host Mark Levin told Fox News Channel.
"They do it because they want to hold onto what power they have," Levin said Monday on "Your World with Neil Cavuto."
"They hope to eke through elections. They think they're going to take the Senate with no agenda whatsoever."
Asked about Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., who has called efforts to defund Obamacare "silly," and argued that other tactics and strategies should be used, Levin didn't mince words.
"Where's his tactic and strategy? I'd love to see it," Levin said. "Is it written in invisible ink?"
Corker, Levin said, is a "backbencher," never having led any big congressional battles. "He's just more static, like 90 percent of the members of Congress right now," he said.
Tea party Republicans are not on a suicide mission, as suggested by Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., Levin said.
"Politics is hard. It's like military victories," Levin told Cavuto. "Things aren't handed to you. There's an opposition. There's multiple elements to the opposition. You have to fight hard, and you can't call surrender being smart."
The battles can be won, Levin said, praising GOP Sens. Ted Cruz and Mike Lee for taking up the fight when the leadership would not.

Yesterday Cruz argued for a 60 vote minimum, even if we got that minimum we would be lucky if RIONO Republicans did not help Reid. The Senate has 51 votes add these quislings and Graham, they have 56 they only need 5 more.

You left out the Department of Reich land Security, the Patriot act, the TSA, CO2 is a pollutant, Medicare part D, light bulb bans, endless Amnesty proposals and other conservative things. All while increasing spending twice as fast as Clinton.
