TexGrill Thread: BREAKING NEWS The Chinese-language news has just reported that former Chongqing CCP boss had just been sentenced to life imprisonment. The verdict was made by the Jinan Intermediate People's Court. An attorney representing Bo Xilai has already pledged to appeal the verdict. The link is in Chinese but verifies the story.

According to the money163.com, Bo Xilai had been sentenced to life imprisonment, as well as a revocation of his political rights ,confiscation of all personal property.

Bo Xilai was a very dangerous individual. He wanted to revert China to the days of Mao and the Cultural Revolution. He deserved the death penalty, not a country club jail sentence.

Yes, which explains why the Western media in China had portrayed him as a victim, not a villain. The Wall Street Journal were his most boastful cheerleaders. They touted him as the Chinese Obama.
