Completely impractical nonsense that will kill one of the USA’s key competitive advantages, cheap energy.

Yeah, let’s not use an energy resource we have 1,000 years worth of reserves in.

to meet the standard, new coal-fired power plants would need to install expensive technology to capture carbon dioxide and bury it underground.
Burying a Gas Underground? This certainly has been Jaw Dropper Week!

There were enough people who voted for obama in coal states that he only had to cheat by a few percent. I’d love to know what they’re thinking.
Everything obama does is to hurt the country. I simply can’t understand why so many people are helping him. It’s pure evil.

The proposal would help reshape where Americans get electricity, away from a coal-dependent past into a future fired by cleaner sources of energy.Sorry Dina, that is not what it will do at all.

Do the Global Warming True Believers understand that every time they exhale, they are polluting? I wish they would stop adding pollution to our air!

This is the year, of all of the past two decades, when global warming has taken the worst beating. The CAGW crowd is in full retreat. And here we have Obama and his bunch trying to kill the use of coal because of CO2 emissions. And the AP reporting on it with positive spin.
the rule packs the same punch as one announced last year, which was widely criticized by industry and Republicans as effectively banning any new coal projects in the U.S.
Still fighting a battle from over a century ago against the robber barons. The Progressives haven't figured out in six generations that they themselves benefit from industry and that the evil people who are trying to dominate the world and rob the wealth of productive people are now Democrats, not industrialists and Republicans.

"the limitless dumping of carbon pollution" I'm sure that phrase has been properly focus-group-tested. The tricky part is getting the proles to really believe it rains harder because the carbon pollution absorbed a photon that melted some ice that rose the seas that tipped over an island somewhere.

BO probably has the worst timing of any world leader.
He’s going to stop global warming right at the time the news finally comes out that it doesn’t exist.
But that won’t stop BO.
