Obama's Insane Clown Posse
Blasted Fools.com ^ | September 13, 2013 | Richard Cameron

Posted on 09/13/2013 10:12:39 AM PDT by Noremac

Today's column came into existence, in part - due to my not being able to find an outline that suited my tastes, on the subject of what Constitutional authority a President has, to insert our military into a conflict. Necessity became the Mothers of Invention or Frank Zappa, at the very least, so I wrote one myself. I was also interested in what irresistible gravitational force compels an Imperial President into launching military action on flimsy premises of 'vital national interest'.

I think with this, I'm changing the diaper on the Syria mess and putting the baby to bed for a good nap, because we need to get back to the rest of the scandals at hand. Actually though, when you dig into what Obama was contemplating, and the implications thereof - Syria was a scandal in the making as well. The abortion of Obama's dog wag is the only such termination I approve of.

Once again, as is quite common with me - I have to apologize somewhat that this is not a snappy little number - which is why I've only previewed it here. It involves a number of themes that I tie together and a number of culprits that I line up for intellectual execution. So, if you don't have a few extra minutes to devote to it, please bookmark & come back to it when you do. It'll keep. It's like an MRE.

Thanks as always, for your patience and loyal readership - or loyal mothership or something like that. RC

If a writer can’t get to the point in four paragraphs, I’m not clicking through to his piece.

There are times when the President of the United States has to act in the national interest and that clashes with my view we are a Nation of laws, governed by the Constitution and the separation of powers. I do believe there are times, particularly prior to World War II, we have the example of Franklin Roosevelt taking actions that Congress would never have approved … Abraham Lincoln acted unilaterally in the Civil War,”

At the very least McCain is guilty of breaking his oath to support and defend the Constitution.

What are you suggesting Johnny? Throwing US Citizens into prison camps like Roosevelt did?
