And all the sinners saints.

I don’t understand what is so bad about a permit. If anything, it would prevent two churches from showing up on the same day.

Most Islamic regimes persecute Christians, why did anyone think this one would be different?

So that is why the Romans were after Christ. The took Johnthe Baptist’s head and crucified Christ for not having a baptismal permit.

I thought this was satire to begin with.

Per the article, Rep. Smith notes that “the National Park Service does not require a 48-hour notification from fisherman or swimmers – so why churches?”

Seems they have rescinded their demand.

I swear, the leftwing scuzzies are parsing the bible down to the last punctuation mark, looking for things they can tax or for which they can require a permit. That ‘s how much they hate Christians. It ‘s all out war in their minds (of course, they have never fought one) . Don ‘t know what ‘s next... maybe a road tax for church use of the public roads?

As part of the same permit process, the NPS also mandated that churches give the Park Service 48 hours advance notice of pending baptisms.

Unconstitutional. But what's new with this criminal fake and his flying monkeys?

Seems like an issue perfectly created for massive civil disobedience. Think about it.

The National Park Service began enforcing a policy recently that required churches to obtain special use permits in order to baptize in public waters.

When did a simple description become a bureaucratic personal playground? What is it about the word "public" that entitles the government to treat different classes of "public" differently?

In public waters we can take a drink, cool our feet, sail paper boats, skip stones, wade, swim, if possible without any need of explanation or thought of permissions.

Employees of the Park Service are not assigned private playgrounds or little kingdoms. Whatever they can do, they public is also entitled to do.

This may be bold to ask, but has there been any sort of explanation given for this bizarre rule?
Or have things come to the point when our servants have decided to stage a "regulations" coup?

Muzzies can block streets three times a day though, and nobody had better say a word.

Oh wait. Does anyone who goes swimming have to give advance notice of their plans? Or is it swimming with a purpose that they don’t like?

Wait a minute: I can SWIM in public waters with no permit but I can’t baptize in public waters without a permit. OK, makes perfectly sense to me.(?)
