Two teenage boys are charged in the bloody beating of Delbert Belton outside a Spokane, Washington ice skating rink and investigators are now suggesting the soldier—who took a bullet in the Battle of Okinawa—tried to stop the apparent robbery.
Police say that enraged the teens and turned their petty theft into full-blown murder as they continued to beat him into submission with ‘big, heavy flashlights.’
‘Our information is that the individual fought back and that may have made this, you know, a worse situation,’ said Spokane Police Chief Frank Straub in a Monday press conference.

So glad you posted this vintage photo..........I have been angry about this brutal beating and murder. But as I look closely at the photo, I think I see Delbert Belton in the front row........
Called desk number for Lydia and stated that I had upcoming business to be taken care of of which I had a choice of cities; Spokane or Portland.
Expressed concern that a police chief basically was stating a man has no right to defend himself or family against attack, and that I will be traveling with my wife and two daughters.
Anticipated expenditures for this trip are several thousand dollars spent local and advised Lydia that maybe if this chief felt this way we would be considering Portland instead. (another liberal bastion)(actually, I’ve never thought of Spokane as being a liberal city, is it?)

In our little central KY town, the liberal segment of our population elected a black mayor (who really shouldn’t have been elected, regardless of color) so they could feel good about themselves and brag about it. IOW, his qualification was that he was black. Remind you of anyone?
Besides being a big tax and spend lib, his 2 nephews (25 & 19) are part of a black gang going round beating the sh1t out white people. Damn near stomped a man to death in a restaurant parking lot - convicted of assault, not attempted murder which it was. He is playing it down, says they are just “youthful directionless bullies” not serious criminals.
Police chief warned us against “vigilantism”, which IMO is code for don’t defend ourselves. The authorities are scared that a white person is going to take one of the psychos out in self defense and we’ll get Sharpton, Jackson & Holder here on their “get whitey” racist witch hunt.
Reality is that there are plenty of CC folks around here and the odds of one of these animals getting plugged is getting greater. Honestly, some people (reluctantly) are starting to think that taking out a couple of them is the only thing that may stop this.
BTW, the mayor’s SIL is a huge racist, has the local school board crapping in their panties every time she coughs. Claims everything that happens is racist, her husband’s speeding ticket for example.
Lot of very pissed off people getting very fed up with black on white assaults getting soft pedaled.
Oh, and for the icing on the cake, our local 3 day a week paper, which is puke leftist, had an editorial Sunday, saying that A) these crimes are blown out of proportion; and B) the guy they nearly beat to death asked for it because of using the N word. Which they deliberately provoked him into doing, big time. They were there looking for a white man to cripple.
I lay most of this stuff at the feet of our “post racial” President and the racist Democrat Party that put him there for just that reason. They are provoking a race war & I see no way to avoid it. They are not letting up.

The post and photo I was referring to disgusted me and that kind of thinking is precisely why the thug culture thinks they have a green light to brutalize and murder helpless white people. WTF does Beltons murder in 2013 have to do with a racist lynching maybe sixty years ago?

I doubt this idiot made this the policy for the police department. Officers shall not fight back if they are being attacked, so as not to make the situation worse.
