If there are only four books you read in your life, they should be Liberty & Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto by Mark R. Levin; Ameritopia: The Unmaking of America by Mark R. Levin; George Washington: The Crossing by Jack Levin; and The Liberty Amendments: Restoring The American Republic by Mark R. Levin.
Its often said, We saved the best for last. Well, Mark R. Levins The Liberty Amendments is the finest book he has turned in to date. It is a book that will not only define the legacy of Mark Levin the man, but it will also invigorate the American conservative, and will set in motion a course of events to insure a return to constitutional republicanism.
With this book, Mark R. Levin has indeed started a conversation about the future of America and its citizenry. Levin has successfully offered Americans an alternative in which to slay the federal leviathan. He gives us eleven amendments to the Constitution. These amendments offer the states a voice, the people a voice and keep the federal government in check, allowing the people to take back America, bringing it into the original focus of the Founders vision for the country.
As by sheer coincidence, I happened to read George Washington: The Crossing and The Liberty Amendments: Restoring The American Republic back to back. In a sense, America is currently in its retreat from New York and is now thanks to Mark Levin about to begin its crossing of the frozen Delaware River. It wont be an easy undertaking, but it will help to give America as the Founders intended a chance to endure for its posterity.
As always, Mark provides us with detailed explanations of each amendment and then proceeds to back it up with his inexhaustible research. He is truly a man behind his time not a Neanderthal, racist, homophobic, sexist pig as imagined by liberal drones. Instead, he is a man that longs so deeply for a return to Americas Founding, and steeped so deep in its history, that he could likely have been standing in that hall in Philadelphia.
You cannot thank Mark R. Levin for writing this book without thanking his father, Jack Levin, for instilling in Mark a love of history and a respect for the American tradition and its Founding principles. I can only imagine the feelings of ineffable pride that Jack Levin must have. A hearty congratulation goes out to both men for a job well done.
The Liberty Amendments: Restoring The American Republic is so substantive that it should contain a warning label that reads, Warning: Do not read this book if you love America, its Founders and the U.S. Constitution. If you do love all of the aforementioned, then purchasing this book will be among the top five things you do this weekend.
The Liberty Amendments: Restoring The American Republic is simply an astounding accomplishment. Mark R. Levin doesnt just talk the talk. With this book, he walks the walk.
Ping!
And we shall claim...freedom again.
Your back?
Where have you been?
Levin makes good points but he is wrong. A Constitutional convention will be controlled by the Demo-RINO machine. The Constitution will be dismantled, not reinforced.
Movement Conservatives are a small minority in this country, the sooner we recognize that the better and the faster we can formulate some real strategies.
Imagine my surprise on seeing your post. I ordered The Liberty Amendments earlier today through Amazon!
Looking forward to reading it, and your review has just heightened my interest! B^)
Yes, indeed. We will reclaim freedom again.
You’ll enjoy the book. No doubt about it.
Right now, the Demo-RINO machine is using their interpretation of the Constitution to destroy it and America as founded. The Constitution is already being dismantled.
Our choice is to either use its amendment provisions to attempt to stop that, or take up arms and kill the all the Demo-RINO’s who are destroying the Constitution. There are no other “real strategies”.
Even if we take up arms and win, the Progressives’ structural changes would still be in place and we would be right back to where we started from in another 100 years.
Either way, they are not going to give up power without some kind of fight. Mark Levin is proposing a way that can succeed peacefully within the framework of the Constitution.
Get the book, read the book, and call me in the morning.
Well, if those are the choices we need to expend the least violent option first.
Yeah, I gave him the link on youtube so he could see the live show Mark did with Hannity. Mark addresses Geron’s very concerns.
Thought you might like this ping!
Thanks!
Mark has addressed that particular fear ad infinitum on his radio show.
Understand that this is a process for proposing amendments to the Constitution. The several amendments produced in any Article V convention will still have to be voted on by both houses of Congress and ratified by 3/4 of the states.
A convention that produced a raft of amendments that diminished individual liberty, or expanded the size, scope, and power of the federal government, would be an exercise in futility. Three quarters of the state legislatures in this country would never agree to adopt them.
You’re most welcome.
Sure abouit that?
Good job Mark.
you would bitch if they hung ya with a new rope
Yeah, kind of. Sort of. Probably.
Like I said, I do not disagree with his ideas, I just don’t think it would work. If we can’t get people elected, how do we propose electing them to the convention?
Why waste money on a new rope?
