Sometime what you are selling is so awful and useless you can’t even give it away. The Communists who run Vietnam are learning this simple truth up front and personally.
They are trying to get young people interested in learning all about the wonderful Communist system they live under but they are just not interested. They are so disinterested in what Marx, Lenin and Barack Obama’s hero Ho Chi Minh had to say that they will not use their precious college years studying their works; even free of charge.
Last month Nguyen Tan Dung the head Red decreed that students pursuing a four year degree in Marxist Leninist economic theory could henceforth attend the Ho Chi Minh City Social and Human Sciences University, a state-run school, free of charge.
The reasons the little Commies are saying thanks but no thanks to free degrees in this foolishness would make the paisley dress, elbow patch crowd on American college campuses jump up and run out of the room.
While these American “Intellectual” nitwits are teaching students empty courses in useless feel goodism, the young people in Vietnam are saying they want to study only majors whose courses have real world value. They don’t want degrees in...

Even Cuba and North Korea are still trying to make their commie Revo-l-o-o-sion work after fifty and sixty years.
Perhaps they should try the Adam Smith economic system as the US did and became a booming economic force just a few years after OUR revolution.
I flew out my SIL’s funeral in 2008(?) in Seattle and at the transfer In SC, I was placed next to a Viet Namese young man, with a laptop, furiously typing away. We struck up a conversation during which I made it known he was VN. He laughed and said most people thought he was Chinese or something. He asked if I’d ever been to VN, obviously knowing the answer. I said “ Yes I had close to a five year vacation in your country.” He explained the new economy over there, looked around surrepticiously, and said ‘ After seeing Capitalism, if you declared war on us this morning, we’d surrender by sunset.’ I bought him a drink with the unsaid thought in my head (I hate myself for this)’I probably shot your father or f’d your mother.’
Gee with a degree in Marxist Leninist economic theory you could get a job as an Obama economic adviser.
We should swap their college students for our brainwashed college Reds.
