Thanks. I believe my previous comment explains that - high-end copiers have the ability to crop original images and center them on the page when copying. On a Xerox WorkCentre, for instance, you can set the Original Size to a custom area and Auto Center from the Image Layout tab. Note that the hinge can potentially get in the way if you wanted to try this on an area in the center of the page, but it appears that this wasn’t a problem because the Obama record was on the top left of the right page, making it very easy to align.
How and why did the 7655 get rid of the cross-hatches on these 2 copies?
