It is relevant now that Rush has thrown this out there. Just for general info. I mean of the psyops pro’s are putting out fake Benghazi letters to survivors, than this is important to the narrative. Whether it is true or not. This came from somewhere. I would be interested in who put it out there.

If Obama wasn’t in the Situation Room, no one was there to issue the cross-border action permission.
You could characterize this absence during the crises as a ‘pocket veto’. If you don’t get an affirmative ‘go’ order from the CIC, then you have no authority to order any military units to engage the enemy.
Obama needed his rest since he was due in Vegas the next day for a fund raiser. So he probably sent Jarrett to keep an eye on things and let him know when the US personnel were KIA.
