With this post, I am not saying you are right or wrong; but the connection between Jarrett and the 0bamas goes way, way deeper than might be suggested by that single sentence. Way deeper.
In what (to me) was and is an astonishing concentric layer-of-the-onion thing...Jarretts’ parents were heavy into the Chicago Communist party movement in the 30’s and 40’s, of which Frank Marshall Davis was member #48, and of which Alinsky was the top intellectual superstar. Axelrods’ parents, as well, were leading Communist activists in Chicago during this era. I am merely scratching the surface because I am relying upon my rotten memory to recount some of these details. The core of the leadership in Wash DC goes back to a cluster of no more than a dozen people originating in that era who were utterly rabid and relentlessly active Communists.
