Washington, DC The Al Jazeera news agency is reporting that NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden has safely landed in Caracas, Venezuela. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro had offered asylum to the former U.S. intelligence contractor on Friday who was believed to be waiting in transit at a Moscow airport.
Guillermo Thomas who is a spokesman for the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela told aljazeera.com that Snowden is currently in the country and that he is thrilled to be there. We are very blessed to have Mr. Snowden in our country, it is a pleasure, Thomas said. There were no direct flights across the Atlantic from Moscow to Venezuela. The only flight for Snowden to avoid U.S. extradition was to travel through Cuba. We would like to thank our friends in Cuba for making this journey possible and such a success. Thomas continued, Mr. Snowden is a hero and should be treated as one. We are pleased to provide this hero a home where he can live and be safe.

This story is not true. There is no mention of this on Al Jazeera. It was originally reported back around the 5th or 6th of July that he had landed in Venezuela.
Apparently, that is not a difficult task. Obama has stuffed every position in this government where he has a choice with minions that will implement his every whim. Those that he can't control are being replaced with minions chosen by other minions.
The only thing they have going for them is hate for America and its people that actually contribute. They want nothing more than total devolution and an emergence of totalitarian bigots having all the power. That's what those billion rounds of DHS ammo are for.
I am not in any way a fan of the Venezuelan socialist, Maduro, nor am I in any way a fan of the (allegedly) American socialist, Obama. I’ll just watch them squabble like the shallow babies they are, and enjoy some popcorn.
I hope Hugo rots in Hell, too. Good luck to Snowden, though. He's done us all a huge service by exposing what our government is doing.
Al Jazeera initially reported this on July 7. They have since taken the story down. Check your favorite search engine. There have been stories in the last 3 weeks that indicated that he was still in Russia.
