Those investigators presumably included his interim health director, Neal Palafox, who was shortly after asked to resign and threatened by the AG’s implicatetions of a non-existent medical billing scam investigation. If Neal Palafox - the director in control of the HDOH - couldn’t find anything at the HDOH to report back to Abercrombie, then there’s a problem even BEFORE Abercrombie desperately went to check the labor room admittance logs at the hospitals.
