Looked like self-defense to me.
I heard Quanell X (of all people) on Michael Berry this morning explaining her story. Sounds legit. There is a problem that she appear to pull her weapon before he did his ... though she says he threatened. Said she took a picture of the knife the guy was holding (not the corpse) for fear it would be disappeared by one of his friends ... and that she fled the scene because he had a lot of friends there, but called 911 as soon as she got home.
My inclination is to say self-defense, SYG ... and that Quanell should shut-up about Zimmerman if he’s going to jump to the other side of stand-your-ground for this chick.

I have to say at first blush with all I saw and heard, not sure she needed to go this far. But, it’s 50/50 at this point. Worst would probably be manslaughter in my eyes.
Guess I was right the dude was “older”. 58 is reasonably so. I was expecting at most a 40yo punk.
As far as “his friends” - I heard eyewitnesses corroborated much of her story. Not sure she’d have to worry much about friends around. I’d’ve tried to go back in to call 911.
The 911 call is new information. If it occurred, it would do a lot to have her “no billed”.
The early reports were that the police tracked her down from a licence plate taken from a witness or surveillance camera.
This will be interesting to watch/follow.
The principle being pushed here is that SYG means a white man has no right to defend himself against a black man and a black man has every right to defend himself against anybody.
