Do you remember, during the OJ trial, President Bill Clinton saying "If I had a son he would look like Ron Goldman"?
Do you remember, following the OJ verdict, President Bill Clinton saying "Ron Goldman- that could have been me twenty five years ago"?
Do you remember, in the aftermath of the OJ trial, President Bill Clinton saying "I wonder if the outcome would have been different had Nicole Simpson been black?"
Neither do I.
Obama held a pity party yesterday. In so doing, he took division in this country and ripped it apart even further. He took an open wound and poured salt into it. He pulled off the scab trying to heal.
"You know, when Trayvon Martin was first shot, I said that this could have been my son. Another way of saying that is Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago. And when you think about why, in the African- American community at least, there's a lot of pain around what happened here, I think it's important to recognize that the African- American community is looking at this issue through a set of experiences and a history that -- that doesn't go away."
It could have Obama? Did Obama get suspended three times from high school? Did Obama have stolen jewelry and burglary tools in his backpack? Would Obama have tweeted pictures of his grille? Would Obama have tweeted a picture of a gun? Would Obama have taken a swing at a bus driver?
I'd love to see Obama have to answer those questions.
But let's examine what Obama has done once again- and that is to inject race into an issue that wasn't racially motivated.
The FBI found no evidence that Zimmerman was a racist.
The lead investigator said that the shooting was not based on skin color.
Witnesses told the FBI that Zimmerman is no racist.
Zimmerman mentored black children, stood up for homeless blacks and even voted for Obama.
But none of that matters- not to Obama, not to Sharpton, not to MSNBC.
Despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary Obama feels compelled to make race an issue in this tragedy.
"If a white male teen was involved in the same kind of scenario, from top to bottom, both the outcome and the aftermath might have been different."
I doubt it would have made a bit of difference had a white sucker punched Zimmerman and then proceeded to ground and pound him.
And straw men abound!
"If Trayvon Martin was of age and he was armed, could he have 'stood his ground' on that sidewalk?"
The Zimmerman lawyers did not make use of the Stand Your Ground defense.
The Obama regime took a turn down a very dark road when it set up a website looking for "feedback" about possible civil rights charges against Zimmerman:

We know more about Mr. Martin than we know about Mr. Soetoro. Maybe this could be a teachable moment.
What parents?

To be honest, we really do not know if he did any of these things. His background is well hidden, and if we depend on the Media to find out we will never know.
Of course he has admitted to smoking dope and using Cocaine, and belonging to the Choom gang, He was a roomie with a Homosexual and went to Iran on somebodies passport, we have no idea who paid for his education.
its a crush for them...if they succeed in life, its because of THEIR hard work and talent...if they fail in life, its always, always somebody else’s fault...its a win/win situation for them......they can never be blamed..
Sure, if Zimmerman had sucker-punched him and and overwhelmingly assaulted him, but that's not what happened.

Quite frankly we need no further discussions on this lets refocus on the IRS, Benghazi and Fast Furious, and Obamacare. Why are we allowing them to distract from issues we actually can address?
So Mr. President do you teach your children to violently confront strangers? Why didn’t Trayvon call 911 to report a stranger following him? When Trayvon finally approached Zimmerman and saw that he towered above and outweighed him why did Travyon become aggressive? Trayvon the bully, attacks a creepy a$$ cracker that is following him for doing nothing more then following him... Didn’t Trayvon’s parents teach him self restraint? Yes there is a conversation that needs to happen but it is not one about racial prejudice it certainly is one of how not to create young black thug bully’s....
Once had a nefarious black man following me and called 911. The police saved the day. Seems like the logical, civilized thing to do.
