Think how much money it could fetch at auction. After all it is the fifth most infamous gun in the history of the world.
Infamous Guns- John Wilkes Booth's - derringer
- Lee Harvey Oswald's - rifle
- James Earl Ray's - rifle
- Sirhan Sirhan's - pistol
- George Zimmerman's - pistol
- Mark David Chapman's - pistol (John Lennon)
- Gavrilo Princip's - pistol (Archduke Ferdinand)
- Nathuram Godse's - pistol (Mohandas K. Ghandi)
- Leon Czolgosz's - pistol (President McKinley)
- Charles J. Guiteau's - pistol (President Garfield)
Note: 7 - 10 are where they are because no one under the age of forty has heard of any of them.
To be honest, I would place Gavrilo Princip's pistol at the top of the list, but I might be accused of being a racist.

After all it is the fifth most infamous gun in the history of the world. What about the firearms used in the shootings in Columbine, Texas? Or the rifles used to murder Sam or Vicki Weaver? Or the revolver used in the attempted murder of President Ronald Reagan?

They built a special train line off the Jersey Coast Line to bring President Garfield to a small house on a bluff overlooking the Atlantic in Elberon, which is the southernmost part of Long Branch, NJ. Many Presidents summered in Long Branch. President Garfield lingered there for more than a month, if I recall correctly, before he died. Where the track was laid is now called Lincoln Ave. The small house is located on Garfield Rd., a small cull de sac off Ocean Ave. You can see it on Google Maps - 89 Garfield Rd., Long Branch NJ. There is a small plaque that commemorates the location. I used to ride my bike there to look at it when I was young.
