Rep. Tom Marino (R-Pa.) in a Thursday radio interview revealed he is exploring the potential options that would allow Congress to file civil or criminal charges against members of the Obama administration and even President Barack Obama himself.
Citing the Obama administration’s delay in the implementation of the employer mandate found in “Obamacare,” Marino told radio host David Madeira that the president continues to show a disregard for the law. He also argued Attorney General Eric Holder is never going to hold the Obama administration accountable.
“If the chief law enforcer of the country [Holder] will not enforce the law,” said Marino, “and the president decides to break the law because he doesn’t like it, there has to be another mechanism by which we in Congress can … see if there are criminal charges we can file.”
Marino is looking to “investigate, identify and prosecute people within the administration, up to and including the president if it comes to that,” according to Sarah Wolf, Marino’s spokeswoman.

Good luck with that Tommy boy. The “establishment” won’t let it go past your desk. It has been tried before and NOTHING has ever happened.
Refuse to fund the Justice Dept. until Holder is gone. Refuse to fund Obamacare & other pet projects of Obama until he starts following the law. Cut the IRS budget so much that they are forced to fire thousands of bureaucrats. Stop voting for the continuing resolution. SHUT THIS CORRUPT GOVERNMENT DOWN!!!
This is the way it is supposed to work.
I would like to see some kind of investigative/prosecutorial group, independent of BOTH the Executive & Legislative branches, that can throw the crooks in jail for breaking the law; perhaps attached to the Supreme Court.
Recall that the corruption is not limited to the Executive Branch. Numerous thieves, perverts, & tax frauds have been given a pass in Congress. In Congress they are called Ethics Violations, while for the rest of us they are called Felonies.
As it exists now & with the direction it is taking, the Executive branch is increasingly ignoring Congress, the USSC, & the law. Congress & the USSC are neutered by partisanship. The Imperial Presidency must be stopped. Congressmen & bureaucrats must be held accountable for their crimes.
If during his tenure a US AG knows crimes are being committed by persons within the executive branch of government but due to political reasons refuses to investigate and indict these persons, can the US AG once out of office after a new administration arrives and pursues these indictments?
