This isn’t America we are talking about here; this is Egypt. Anyone who thinks the 12 million Egyptians who ran out into their streets to kill people who wanted to force Sharia on them will smile and say “Oh okay; more Sharia that’s fine where do we sign?” is fooling himself. Never happened.

Yep. I have a hunch Egypt tossed out Morsi because he and his cronies did nothing to alleviate that country's disastrous economic troubles. Getting rid of the Muslim Brotherhood suddenly turns out to be worth ±$8 billion in charity from other countries, the U.S. included.
Most unfortunately for Egypt, more charity will only prolong the descent into national failure and hunger. A nation that can't and won't take the necessary steps to feed itself will most probably devour itself.
