Honestly, I thought this was a joke. But it seems hes serious.
This is what Texas pro-choicers are arguing for? Seriously?
Snip, from author Ben Sherman:
For those of us guys who like girls you know, like them like them and want to have relationships with them that may last anywhere from a few minutes to many years, we need to think about how this bill, by curtailing the bodily autonomy and sexual freedom of women, hurts us, too. We need to stand with women in their fight to control their own bodies.
How #HB2 Hurts Straight Texas Men
Your girlfriends/wifes life will be in danger. Making abortion inaccessible for millions of Texas women is going to put them in danger if they ever need to terminate a pregnancy. Black markets for unsafe abortions will emerge, and women will be pushed into potentially fatal back-alley abortions. Thats your girlfriends life were talking about.
Your freedom to choose is at stake, too. While it is ultimately a womans choice whether to have an abortion, many women choose to make that decision with the man involved. Do you want that decision ready-made for you by politicians in state government? Not if you value freedom, you dont.
You want to decide when and if to have kids. This bill will force thousands of Texas men into unplanned fatherhood by making it impossible for women to access an abortion in the event of an unplanned pregnancy. Even if you want to have kids, you probably dont want an accident to make you a father before youre psychologically ready and able to care for a child. If you dont want kids, you dont want the narrow, personal views of politicians in the state government to force you to have them.
Your sex life is at stake. Can you think of anything that kills the vibe faster than a woman fearing a back-alley abortion? Making abortion essentially inaccessible in Texas will add an anxiety to sex that will drastically undercut its joys. And dont be surprised if casual sex outside of relationships becomes far more difficult to come by.
Its clear: if the Legislature basically takes away a Texas womans right to choose, having sex becomes a much, much riskier proposition for women and men.
Read more, if you can stand it.
Hail [you know who].
It is as if these morons never heard of birth control.
Someone needs to tell these people that if they want to engage in adult ‘activities’ they need to be ready for adult responsibilities. Period!
They want all of the “fun” with none of the consequences or responsibilities.
I was thinking earlier today that these men who favor abortion are all afraid they might have to start using condoms again.
Poor babies.
They don’t sound like devout Catholics so maybe they should “date” women that use the pill, or maybe they could use those newfangled rubber things or maybe their conquest could use those government approved morning after pills. Or wait here is an idea maybe they could just act like a responsible member of society and keep their D**K in their pants.
The greatest lie ever perpetrated in the name of "women's rights" is that abortion is ABOUT "women's rights."
Someone needs to tell these people that if they want to engage in adult activities they need to be ready for adult responsibilities.
Sorry, Twostone, but it's been tried. Leftist useful idiots just plain don't like responsibilities.
Oh, not to worry. I kinda doubt Ben gets laid much as it is.
Ben stands with women, alright...with a mirror taped to his shoe so he can look up their skirts. Knob.
It’s amazing. How much time do our schools take showing people how to put condoms on cucumbers and such? Despite this, they don’t seem to know what one is.
Abortion is birth control
>>you probably dont want an accident to make you a father before youre psychologically ready and able to care for a child. If you dont want kids, you dont want the narrow, personal views of politicians in the state government to force you to have them.
Men can force a woman to have an abortion in Texas under current law??
In a supreme irony for the feminist left, abortion rights have always been about men avoiding responsibility for their libido and its results.
Contraception fails. In fact, according to Planned Parenthood’s own statistics, the majority of women undergoing abortions were contraceptive at the time they got pregnant.
Contraception is a lie. We need to admit that sex is for married couples as God intended it to be.
>>How much time do our schools take showing people how to put condoms on cucumbers and such?
“But I thought those things were only for giant GREEN penises like we did in school! Its, like, to keep the Hulk from getting you pregnant.”
Nailed it!
After abortion on “demand” comes abortion on “command”.
AMEN
Agreed.
