Right. The Heinz Foundation is every bit as left-leaning as the Tides Foundation.
Right up there with both of those is The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. I know what an Uber Leftist Steve Jobs was, but for the most part, he kept his profits to himself as far as I know. I’m all for people doing things with their money they earn, but when I look at what The Heinz Foundation, The Tides Foundation, and The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation do with their money, I’d rather they just kept all their profits themselves.
I’m sure that many liberals look at things I’ve done with my money, and feel the same way, although most of my charity is gone towards military support related causes.
The Ford Foundation is another one.
Another insidious practice that I am not fond of, is Leftist non-profits that get funds from the government and somehow those wind up paying for Democrat projects.
