See post #68, you won't read this in the NYT or see it on CNN.

The worst thing is that the dress is hideous. The first wookie has zero taste in clothes.

The dress is by Zero & (Somebody). I think she just thought it had her (or her husband’s) name on it. A Zero for a zero.

Oh! I just thought it was a continuation of her “just walked out of a bag of rags” look. My bad. ;-)

So? She's rich. She can afford nice clothes.

Just last week a report from CNN Money said that 76% of Americans are living paycheck-to-paycheck.

Non-sequitur. You might not like the fact that she's rich or the things that she did to get rich but trying to contrast her lifestyle with the average American is socialist class envy clap trap. You can complain all you want about the Obamas blowing taxpayer money but the wardrobe envy is petty.

The Bush trip to Africa was scheduled well in advance with no publicity. It was for LAURA BUSH who was INVITED to have a long awaited meeting with the ‘first ladies’ of Africa on education for African children among other things...

I believe that the obama trip was deliberately scheduled to coincide with the Bush trip so they could interject themselves, especially michelle, to make it seem as if they were part of the plan so they could bask in the Bush’s glow. The obamas are as UNWELCOME as the Bushes are welcome. Otherwise they had absolutely no reason for being there.

IOW, another STUNT (although the Mandela Timing is is also another coincidence and thus suspicious.)

The First Beard has no class, no integrity, and NO sense of propriety. Both it and the Thug in Chief are usurpers of all attention and authority and a Blank Check.

But frankly, I don't know why African "education" should be so important to Laura Bush when it's just been proven at the Zim trial that certain Americans can't read or write cursive OR speak the English language. Shouldn't Laura be visiting Miami instead?

Sorry — the first two paragraphs of analysis should be noted and attributed as the quote of MestaMachine.

She can accomplish more for literacy in Africa that she ever could in Miami.

A prophet is seldom welcome in his own land, that's just human nature. You can't change it, but you can work with it.

Consider, in Africa, she's a visiting hero. In Miami, she'd be a crazy-asp Cracker bi+ch, dissn' all o' urban hip-hop kulture.

Think the First Beard will eventually hook up with Laura and try to steal her thunder in Mutha Africa?
