It depends on how hard they are willing to work. Certainly photoshop can pick out sections of a photo and lighten them. Looks like they didn’t use that approach with the two main photos.
Orange isn’t a nice color for much of anyone.
I think they decided that jumpsuit orange was more appropriate than the red shirt he was actually wearing.
