Sorry, I am sure he (she?) is a perfectly nice snake but I lived in the tropics to long to be fond of them.
I like animals in different ways, some I like to have live with me, some I like to admire from a respectful distance, some I like on a plate and some I like very far away from me.
There’s a huge difference between not wanting to own a snake [for example] and wantonly killing every one you see.
I’m not fond of cats but I would go out of my to help one in need and would never try to run over one with my car.
Snakes, groundhogs and turtles are pointlessly slaughtered that way every day, just because somebody doesn’t “like them”.
I do not believe for one second that you would ever fall into the latter category.
