Actually, despite everything that you noted (and I agree with your assessment), I don’t think the results is no progress. Why? Beacuse more people read than comment, and when rational comments are attacked, rational people often refrain from making such comments, they just read. And very likely that is exactly what some of the posters’ purpose is - to shut up those who are just looking for facts, to drive them away. But all that does is keep people just reading, doens’t drive them away, just makes them not post comments.

A rational person reading this thread, with a sincered desire to ascertain truth, will decide rightly which comments are useful and which are not.

The truth stands on its own - it has a different ring, so to speak. Like a cracked bell or one made from inferior materials rings poorly, and a sound bell made of good brass rings clearly.

People with agendas other than “Hey! Let’s find out who this Zero really is”! are easy to identify.

According to a biographical history of the Obama family, written by Peter Firstbrook, The Obamas: The Untold Story of an African Family (2010), BHO Sr.’s good friend Leo Odera said that BHO Sr. learned, while studying in Hawaii, that back in Kenya his wife Kezia was seen “out and about,” dancing in nightclubs, in the company of other men (page 207). Up to that point, BHO Sr. had remained in touch with his wife and children, via letters; but when he learned from friends in Kenya that Kezia was stepping out, he became, shall we say, disenchanted. He eventually stopped corresponding with his wife altogether when he learned through friends that she was pregnant by another man. He wrote to Odera:

She has disappointed me because she is expecting another child.
