France participated, but they were under the hammer at the time. The U.K. did not act, but they were desperately fighting against the threat of a German invasion.

I would agree that FDR was the chief culprit. He knew damned well what was going on, but he refused to admit Jewish refugees and did nothing to defend them or call Hitler to account. He was the one who was in a position to do something. But he was anti-Semitic.

The lefties and the Jews hate to admit it, of course. FDR is their hero. So they refuse to talk about it.

I’m surprised that Netanyahu raised this issue. I suspect that it is intended as a jab in the direction of Obama and his pals, who likewise cannot be counted on to defend Israel.

I would dare say if France and England actually did something to help Poland in her hour of need, as they had promised, they could have at least slowed down Hitler.

Probably to infer, quite correctly, "...and they're not helping NOW."

As Churchill pointed out, cowardly appeasers hope they'll be eaten sometime later than everyone else.
