The news has been chock full of scandals for the past few weeks. Anyone who is paying attention can easily tell the Obama administration is finally showing their true colors. While they may not be in danger of complete collapse, especially if the main stream media continues their support, they are clearly hurting. If they were in the stock market, I wouldn't want to take their stock options. It wouldn't be a safe bet.
In light of that, the question begs to be asked. Why is all of this coming to fruition at the same time? Even the sturdiest tower will start to shake, if enough weight is placed on its walls. Maybe that is what is happening with the Obama administration. Sooner or later, all things will come to light, no matter how much some people try to keep them hidden. I believe that is the case here. The weight of these scandals is simply too much to keep hidden any longer.
I want to share a post from Capitol Commentary. It isn't a long post, but it is well worth reading. In just a few paragraphs, Harrison lays bare the reason the Obama administration is having so much trouble as the first black American President heads into his second term.
It’s getting tough to keep track of all the scandals that have emerged since Obama has become president. Last year his EPA head, Lisa Jackson, was caught using a fake email under the name “Richard Windsor” so FOIA requests wouldn’t find her. She left her post. Then we had Benghazi. Fast and the Furious is still ongoing. Or what about the Black Panthers? Or maybe the ongoing wiretapping/email reading? Or maybe the IRS scandal? Or the latest one about how the EPA stands accused of waiving FOIA fees for Liberal groups but not for Conservative ones? Or the emerging insider trading scandal involving Government insiders and Medicare?I look forward to reading your reactions in the comments. Even the most overly manufactured scandals involving the Bush administration couldn’t match, for sheer number, what we’re now seeing under Obama.
So the question is: Why?
The answer’s easy: Obamabots didn’t want to see the truth about their Savior and the Press surrendered their 4th Estate duties when a half-black ran against a woman.
The American public hasn’t had any serious coverage or critical examination of American Democratic politics since the primaries back in 2007.
Hillary Clinton groused about the unfair coverage… Saturday Night Live did a skit about it but it’s the American public who got the short end of the stick.
Journalists (not JournoLists) are supposed to take a highly critical eye towards politicians and dig deep and come up with some dirt.
Except for Conservative blogs and some magazines, this has not happened with Obama and it’s allowed a monster to go wild.
Politicians always seek as much power as possible. Government grows as much as possible. Only citizens and journalists have the power to limit growth.
But this monster was allowed to grow so large because Obama’s supporters who were so critical of Bush stayed silent. Now, with the latest spying revelations the cat is out of the bag.
But, in the end, it is the press and Obamabots who are to blame.
Hope and Change, indeed.
What scandals?
For the same reason that bank robbers rob banks: because the scandals are there. This is the most corrupt administration of 2 centuries.
America was once a land of Law, of freedom, and a free people.
The MSM and the DNC and al Qaeda did not like that,
so the sent their undocumented FRAUD and IMPOSTOR
for what has been a coup d’etat against the US Constitution.
Minitrue kept them under wraps just long enough to get past the election.
They don’t care that all this is coming to light. This is
just a diversion to them (Obama and Alinsky and whoever). It is actually a diversion while they are setting up more and more of the trap... Do they look worried?

True. Did you notice how quickly that little girl got a lung? That was an unexpected that could have really been a problem, but that’s behind them now.
As you say, they don’t care, and perhaps the reason could be they are signalling to us all what power they possess so don’t mess with them.
When you are a crook, surround yourself with other crooks and them make deals with fellow crooks outside of the government...well, what do you think will happen?
Why? Because he’s heading one of the most inept administrations in history.
Morality is all relative to liberals, when they have power they will abuse it, they have no sense of right and wrong to keep them straight.

I think they are happening because he has allowed them to happen by NOT running the Presidency as he should. He seems to have let these Cabinet Members and Departments run themselves with no input or oversight and this is the result. This is what happens when you get an inexperienced, lazy person in the office. Time for another round of golf and then another vacation.....

The author’s thesis is true, but doesn’t go far enough. Obama is a virulent marxist and has surrounded himself with the same types of people. “The ends justify the means” is a maxim of marxists and communists. These despots are totally devoid of integrity, honesty, truth and honor and will do ANYTHING to amass all power and enslave their subjects.
However, as Deadrock says above, “What scandals?” He’s got the magic melatonin shield and a fawning press to provide cover.
