The Senate is poised to vote tomorrow on an immigration amnesty bill that may destroy America. Urge your senators to vote NO Tuesday on the "motion to proceed" which would bring the amnesty bill, S. 744, to the Senate floor. You can save this great nation with just a little time and effort:

• Immediately send a FREE pre-written fax to your two senators;
• Immediately find their phone numbers and call your two senators and say, "I urge you to vote NO Tuesday on the 'motion to proceed' which would bring the amnesty bill, S. 744, to the Senate floor;" and,
• Immediately email your two senators and tell them to oppose S. 744 using a really slick tool (this link contains a sample letter for you to copy and paste -- or write your own letter).

All the information you need about S. 744 is summarized here (opens in a new tab/window), but here are some bullet points, too:

S. 744 would, according to NumbersUSA:

• give work permits and legalization to 11+ million illegal aliens in the first year, and entice millions more foreign workers to come illegally in the future;
• double authorized immigration to 22 million over the next decade, swamping the 20 million Americans who want a full-time job and can't find one;
• add millions of less-educated, low-wage immigrants to all the country's welfare and entitlement programs; and,
• do all of the above without even guaranteeing improved enforcement at the border and workplace in the future.

According to the Center for Immigration Studies, Amnesty is not just for illegals under SB 744, but will apply to the employers of illegal aliens:

... Amnesty for employers found to have employed illegal aliens or who are currently employing illegal aliens. ...

Amnesty for employers who did not withhold and/or submit payroll taxes for individuals illegally in the United States. ...

Amnesty for employers who violated labor laws by paying unfair wages, who failed to pay wages, etc. ...

Amnesty for employers who violated labor laws by paying unfair wages, who failed to pay wages, etc. ...

Amnesty for employers who facilitated Social Security fraud and identity theft by providing or accepting false Social Security numbers. ...

According to Senators Cruz, Grassley, Lee and Sessions, S. 744:

1. Provides immediate legalization without securing the border;
2. Rewards criminal aliens, absconders and deportees and undermines law enforcement;
3. Contains extremely dangerous national security loopholes;
4. Facilitates fraud in our immigration system;
5. Creates no real penalties for illegal immigrants and rewards them with entitlements;
6. Delays for years the implementation of E-Verify;
7. Does not fix our legal immigration system;
8. Advanced through a process predicated on a deal struck before mark-up; and,
9. Rewards those who have broken our laws by offering a special path to citizenship.

My 5th great grandfather, John Carpenter, came here from England in the mid 1700s, became George Washington’s neighbor, fought at his side in the French and Indian Wars and the Revolution. That was, of course, before we had laws dealing with immigration.

My more recent ancestors came here LEGALLY from Germany and England, went through the procedures set forth for citizenship to become proud Americans.

What little remains of “American culture” is being destroyed by the virtually unrestrained influx of ILLEGALS from all parts of the world.

Just called both my senators re S744 motion to proceed to debate. (Gang of 8 bill) Both their minions state “The senator has not yet made a decision and is waiting until tomorrow in order to decide in the best interest of the people of GA...blah blah blah.” This, to me, means a yes vote from both.

Numbers USA called yesterday to remind me of the vote. They were kind enough to link me to Johnny Isakson’s office with just the push of a button. After I talked to Johnny's office I called Saxby Chambliss’ office. There is no way this is going to end illegal immigration. It won't even slow it down. Our government could have solved this problem had those sobs in DC cared to. They must be receiving pay offs from all the Latin American countries.

I know people will say I'm crazy, but, I had a Verizon cell phone, one of those cheap LG phones that I just picked up last November to carry when I went out of town. I'd had one a year earlier that I forfeited the minutes on because I didn't use it. So, with the new phone, I'd use it and then just do the prepay phone cards from Wal Mart. Well, what I used the phone for was calling the Gangbanger 8, C-Span and the White House. One night at work my phone beeps. My co-worker said, “Your phone just died.” I plugged the phone in and it said it was charging, but never worked again. Is it tooooo crazy to think the government killed my phone?
